JOYO Modulation Multi Effects Pedal R Series Dual Channel Stereo Input and Output 9 Effects for Electric Guitar (Vision R-09)

Good multi effects pedal and the added benefit of it is that two effects can be assigned at the same time.

I have a lot of guitar fx pedals also multi fx pedals. There are positives to this pedal and one or two points to be aware of. On the plus side:- Looks good. A range of fx and two capable of being used at the same time via the two footswitches. It's capable of stereo operation. I found that using both A and B channels simultaeneuosly did not produce a dip in volume. If you want to activate a second effect mid song this is helpful. The "Control" dial (one for each channel) makes only subtle changes to the chosen effect. The effects themselves are fine, some more practical than others arguably. I found the flanger, phase and chorus fx to be very respectable.

Packed full of modulation twice with tap tempo on both sides. Great price looks cool when it lights up, hard to grumble. You can dial in some great sounds on some of the mods and some are not so great but more than enough for the money.

When plugged in the pedal let the signal run through on bypass mode but totally cut the signal out when the effects were engaged - on both channels. The rotating switches on this unit all also appeared out of position - never actually pointing at the effect name, just at the gap between, I could have lived with that if it worked, but it added to the shoddiness of the unit. I paid a discounted price so wanted a replacement rather than a refund.... Amazon refused to give me a replacement saying refund was the only option and that I needed to contact the seller/manufacturer via their amazon shop. When they eventually replied they said I need to replace it through Amazon! Amazon then told me they cannot replace it and that I need to contact the UK arm of the manufacturer! They never replied! Eventually the online shop grudgingly offered me a discount off a new unit if I send mine back and order a new one within 48hrs!!! I thought long and hard and decided that the evidence suggests I should steer clear! Sad because this looked like it could do a lot within one pedal.

The build quality was not great however the pedal created no bad noise like static or buzzing. But the effects were almost identical to each other and very bad imitations of the more expensive pedals. The sound quality was not bad but it didn’t matter because the effects were not good. Even for this cheap price it is a bad pedal and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Half of it has shut down arter a week. Assembly may have been a friday job. Still realy great and cheap, will try anouther.

Pros: - 18 modulation options - high sound quality - able to set two unique modulation sounds simultaneously - series or parallel signal path options - mono or stereo operation - standard 9V center negative power input - sturdy build quality - classy aesthetic - inexpensive Cons: - digital artifacts are present on some effects, especially when dialed to extreme settings - the control knobs change different parameters depending on modulation type, which can be confusing to use initially - no preset options Verdict: If you are new to modulation effects and want to explore sonic options, or just looking for a do-it-all workhorse at an inexpensive price, don't hesitate to give the Vision a shot!

Another added pedal on my board. This time it’s the Joyo Vision modulation pedal. My personal fave is the SM-CH knob on the Type B section. I’ve only been scratching the surface On this pedal. Excited to explore! Also, this one has a Mono/Stereo input and output. Can toggle from A to B or AB together. This is a total game-changer! Bang for the buck!$👌🏼

A lot of people's complaints I read are not really valid. One thing to consider is not all 9v PSUs will power this pedal. I use a trex fuel tank Jr and it would not power up the pedal, I thought it was defective. I tried a single 9v power supply and it works perfectly. A lot of people talk about signal loss or volume loss when the pedal is on, it is there, but it's almost not noticeable. While using a boosted signal it isn't even perceivable when turning the pedal on and off. My one real complaint is that the dial knobs don't line up with the modes, which is slightly inconvenient. Other than that the modulation are definitely better than I expected. The rotary, phaser, and flanger are all in particular quite good. Pedal feels great in the hand, works well, sounds good, and is cheap. If you need budget modulation I'd give it a shot. I recommend buying a 9v wall wart style supply to go with it just incase.
