These are the best mountain bike tires I have ever purchased. This is my second set, and I’m extremely happy with their traction in the Arizona desert. The wear seems to be normal, but the grip on rocks and other surfaces makes the slight extra wear worthwhile, as it helps prevent crashes. Overall, I believe these tires are robust and one of the best options for desert riding that I’ve ever owned. I’ve mounted them on a tubeless rim using about four ounces of tire sealant in each tire to prevent flats. So far, everything is working as expected. I highly recommend these tires and plan to purchase them again. One note: when the tires are brand new, they tend to flick rocks at you while riding on the trails. As the tires wear down a bit, they seem to throw fewer rocks, but other than that, you can ride with confidence.

Tire seems to be of good quality, packaged nicely and feels overall like a quality item. It does want to retain its packaged shape a little, which is to be expected. Just unfold it and let it sit in the sun for a while, or just deal with and work it onto the rim. Keeping the tube (if running a tube) slightly inflated helps to both hold the tube and the new tire in place while assembling. I dont feel this tire was any harder or easier to install then the Maxxis it replaced... Tubeless ready tires are just more of a pain then the old style I grew up with. Works and looks great on my son's Kona. Originally it had 27x2.25 tires, and this 27x2.40 looks and fits great on it, you hardly notice that it's any wider. Overall, my only complaint is that they seem pricey to me, but I wanted to go with a name brand tire as my son rides in competitions and I didn't want to cheap out on him. It's too early to speak of traction or longevity, but I'll update the review if I feel any additional info would be helpful.

I bought a pair of these tires, even though they were labeled as rear tire. Hey the Maxxis dhr 2’s are used for front and back. The rubber is soft, and treads are high. A little harder to get onto a rim but once they are on, they feel really good. They are kinda new so I can’t comment on the tread wear. Overall a really good set of tires. The tires are installed in a Hunt Enduro Wide 27.5 wheelset, I have a pair of Trail Kings on my raceface AR30 wheels and they roll really good and the tread wear is pretty excellent.

I have 27.5 wheels front and back. I have maxxis 2.6, maxx terra, exo + protection. Tire works amazing

Weak sidewalls, these pick up literally every small rock on the trails.

Ein genialer Reifen. Habe die Kombi das erste Mal verbaut und bin begeistert. Aber ich muss auch zugeben, dass ich mittlerweile sowieso fast alles auf Continental umgestellt habe, damir das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bei Schwalbe oft nicht gepasst hat. Von daher kann ich den Reifen sehr empfehlen. .....und ich mag die orangenen Schriftzüge an dem schwarzen Reifen. Schaut einfach geil aus.

Hallo, ich habe den Reifen kurz vor meinem Urlaub montiert. während der Biketouren zeigte sich der Reifen sehr holperig und unruhig. Zuerst dachte ich, es wäre ein Achter in der Felge. Heute bei wollte ich diesen beim Fachhandel reparieren lassen. Es stellte sich aber heraus, dass die Karkasse des Reifens defekt ist. (Produktionsfehler). Ich möchte den Reifen gegen Rückzahlung zurückgeben. Bitte um kurze Rückinfo.
