The tool is quite effective. It cuts swiftly and easily. It is very lightweight and the chain is surprisingly resistant to coming off the track, even when it is too loosely adjusted. The tool is not without shortcomings, though. The screw driver used for adjusting chain tension provided with the tool is much too short and nearly impossible to use as a result. When in use, the screwdriver is parallel and right next to the blade. As a result, the screwdriver must be long enough to extend beyond the blade so you can turn it but it is not. Another minor issue is that the cover over the rear chain sprocket must be loosened to adjust chain tension. It's not really a problem once you figure it out. Until you do, though, it's a bit maddening that the chain tension adjustment screw won't turn. Lastly, the nut which holds on the cover over the rear chain sprocket seems destined to loosen due to vibration. When it does, the cover will loosen and the blade will come off its locating pin. In turn, that will allow the chain to come off or, worst case scenario, to fly off in who knows what direction. Check early and often that the nut is tight. Overall, this seems like a great tool if it is durable and if the batteries last for a meaningful length of time. I haven't used the tool enough to make a judgement on either of those yet.

This little song has a lot of power and helps make yard work so much easier. I recently bought one because a branch fell in my yard and I needed to cut it up along with a few other trimmings in my yard. This mini chainsaw is the perfect size, safe & easy to use, cut very well, and since its battery no smoke or gasoline. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great lil' saw. The battery lasted long on full power. It comes with 2 batteries, and when one went dead the other was already fully charged . Cut through a 6 inch diameter tree that had fallen in our yard like a boss! It is great for taking off limbs of a tree, too. No issues at all. Oil it regular with regular chain saw oil. Small. Light weight. Powerful( be careful, it is little but mighty). Great value. Nice carrying/ storage case. Highly recommend for girls that do not want to use a high power, regular- sized chainsaw.

Nice mini chainsaw and case for a fairly reasonable price. It cut 3" diameter crepe myrtle branches without bogging down and the batteries lasted quite a while on a charge. I also trimmed a small sweet gum tree afterward and the charge in the second battery was still sufficient to finish both trees. I am also impressed by how long the chain has lasted with no apparent dulling, so this has been a good deal for me. Get one and care for it and I expect it will last years without bailing out on you.

Just my size! I use this all the time for quick easy jobs so I don’t have to ask for help! Cuts through most small/medium diameter branches. Good to use for trimming branches!

I have a couple of disabilities but I was able to use this to trim a lilac bush that has been long over due for a trim! I cut the branches down to burnable size for the fire pit and will be able to burn them by the end of summer, I hope. The only problem I had with it was keeping the battery on the saw. It kept falling off mid cut which was very frustrating. I’ll use it again but I may reach out to the company to see if there is a workaround or maybe something’s wrong with mine. All in all it allows me to do chores I wouldn’t be able to do. I would buy it again. **after using this baby another time I was able to get the battery to stay on. This saw is the best thing since sliced bread and I truly love it. I wanted to update my review on this wonderful piece of equipment. I must not have “locked” my battery in good enough because in using it again I was able to secure the battery better making this perfect if you’re right handed. I really like using it and it allows me to trim areas in my yard that would be impossible without the mini version of a chainsaw.

Ok, I’m in Houston and I bought this to trim up some trees and it did a terrific job. Made quick work of small branches and made a big job feel small. Even took down some larger branches I didn’t think it could. Fast forward a little and Hurricane Beryl rolled through. My yard was full of downed branches. Including a particularly big one that you could call a small tree. This thing handled it all. Some of the bigger branches I had to cut one half first, the other half second, but it did the job. It did not quit or break. This thing is worth the money if you’re on the fence. I may buy one on this Labor Day sale (which was my inspiration for this review). Hope this review helps.

Great little saw.. even for my limited mechanical skills and a healthy respect for large chainsaws .. l found this saw easy to use.. took a little to figure out the correct tension on the chain. And wished for a larger quantity of oil..(what came with it had almost completely leaked out in the case) . Glad there are 2 batteries… each lasts for a good amount of time..

Very good. Although I ordered the 4 inch but got the 6 inch saw. The battery runs out a bit faster than expected. But having 2 batteries helps and the work does not stop . I was able to use it for 1 full hour before the battery ran out.

Will work great for small jobs. Will enjoy the use it will.get. cutting twigs and branches.
