Shockingly good (for me at least)
I wasn't normally a JST guy and did a lot of Dupont stuff. I feel like i would ruin one out of every three crimes. And I had bought a high quality crimper (which i have since misplaced...) I found a case where JST would be a good fit and I expected to suck at crimping these too so why worry about finding my high quality crimper? This came with the crimper and everything I needed and I was in a rush so I got it next-dayed. To my shock, I've done like 14 crimper so far. Not a single failure. The crimper part of the connectors do not look much, if at all, different to the Dupont things 5hat I sucked at. The crimper might not be super elite level but it is clearly getting the job done. This purchase was well worth it to me. I don't know how it turned me into a crimping god but I'm not complaining. I highly recommend this.

A good kit for the electronics workbench
The crimper is a bit big for my hands, but because it's ratcheting that's not an issue. It makes a solid crimp. Just remember that the JST spec has the outermost leaves of the crimp on the insulation, not the bare wire.

Nice kit!
The perfect little kit to keep on hand for those hard to find connectors that you always seem to be out of or not be able to find without having to place a minimum order through a supply house. Even if you replace a couple of these a year, this kit is cost-effective enough to keep on hand and will save the day when you're in a pinch!

Takes a bit to learn the crimper
There should be indication of size on the jaws as well as orientation of the connector. At the minimum the package should show is info but it doesnโt the connectors are pretty standard so nothing wrong with that. I messed up about 8 crimps just trying to figure out the correct way to use the crimpers
