15x24x3/16 A/C Filter

Yes this product is great for any air con. Remember this is a MERV 1- 4 rating that filters dust and pollen and animals fur. This is not 100% the best in air filtering but the UP side to this filter is it filters the air going through air con while allowing a greater volume of clean air thru and trapping some airborne particles. If you went for a higher MERV rating filter that does better filtering than this that would be a great idea but the DOWN side is that such filters restrict a lot of air volume flowing thru the air con because filter has to trap more tiny objects effectively thereby making your air con motor to over work and over heat resulting in either a break down or highigher electric bills. So please be mindful. For me, I prefer this one it is far better than the original filter that came with air con. I' ve spent £500 for my portable air con and not to allow simple thing like filter damage it or lead to higher electric bills. You should always strike a balance between air quality and and machine over load or air volume restriction. Good luck family.

I know this is intended for an air conditioner, but in my case that's not what I bought it for. I have a large dryer at home designed for use with dogs (it looks like a giant hairdryer on a stand but is much more powerful) and on the back of this was a round air intake protected by a circular sponge filter about 9cm in diameter. The replacement filters are both difficult to get hold of and, more particularly, ridiculously expensive for a bit of foam. So I bought this and am now in the process of cutting out lots of discs to make spare filters! It works perfectly well and the sheet is large enough to make so many that it'll last me years!

I used this to replace a clogged chainsaw filter. Really big sheet which can be easily cut to size.

Great product, using for my 220mm PC fan, no filter available, this does the job perfectly.

Got this for replacing the foam on the air intake of a vintage P.A. power amp. Indeed since i couldn't find the exact foam density anywhere else i decided to try this out and i'm happy to report it is amazingly perfect for this audio application. When you think about it either you use this foam for air conditioning purposes or air intake on audio equipment the foam does essentially the same job of filtering dust while allowing enough air to enter the system to cool it off. Just writing this review in case somebody else is looking for a piece of foam for audio or similar applications.

This foam was purchased to limit the amount of dust accumulating in two fan heaters. After covering the air inlet grills - and emptying the barrel fans of fluff, the hot air out the front almost burns again! The airflow is unaffected, drawing cooler room air, at the back, over the internal, over-temperature cutout. That airflow is preventing it from cutting out prematurely! This foam has worked like magic!
