Initially, I was skeptical about this product, but I decided to give it a try. When I put it on my table, I was really impressed with how good it looked and how well it would protect my dining surface. I was pleased with how quickly it arrived, and the quality is excellent. As you can see in my picture, the thickness is decent, and since my table measures 44 by 108 inches, I thought I might have to cut it to fit. However, it turned out to be a perfect fit, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I absolutely love this product! It is exactly like the picture even better than described. The quality of the plastic is amazing and feels very durable. It provides such great protection for my table, and it looks so beautiful as well. I’m honestly very impressed because it looks even better in real life than in the photos. It works good. The thickness is nice. Quality is nice. The only issue I’m having is I tried all the suggested ways to get waves out and there are still waves no matter what I do. It is also harder to cut to size straight due to thickness durability.

We first purchased this about 5 years ago. We loved it and it stood up very well to years of daily use yet remained clear and looked great. It’s so nice and thick that it protects the wood and table cloths beneath it perfectly. While shipped in a large roll, it quickly flattens out after a few hours and fit the table perfectly - The size was exactly as ordered. We loved it and how it’s so thick and stays nicely in place on the table. While it survived thousands of meals and projects preformed on that table, it could not survive a mother-in-law’s brightly colored reusable holiday bag and we ended up with a perfect copy of the colors and patterns of the bag she left sitting on the table for just a few minutes. There must be some new type of printing process going on as we never experienced anything like this in the prior 5 years, but those color dyes were transferred in to the plastic and would not come out with any cleaners. The new one looks just as good as the original, and retains the nice thick, heavy plastic we loved all those years. And we now know to NOT let people throw their brightly colored plastic bags on our dinning table!

When I wanted to get this table my husband was worried about it being the textured groove wood instead of flat because with having 3 kids it'll be harder to clean when food and other things get smashed in it. I liked it a lot and it was a decent price so I chose to be blind to the cold hard truth that deep down inside I knew that would most likely happen. I also figured I could use place mats that they can eat on to avoid that happening. Within a months time one of my kids used a wipe to try and scrub out something sticky that had gotten on it and the wood got ruined in that spot. (See 1st picture). I then decided to use a table cloth which I don't like table cloths and my kids would always use the part that hung down as a napkin. So after a year or so I started looking into heavy glass to put on top but the cheapest I could find was about $400, which is like half the cost of my table that is already slightly damaged so I didn't want to spend that kind of money unless it's a brand new table which we are going to wait until the kids are older to buy a new one. I came across this and decided it's worth a try, most reviews are good. I put it on yesterday afternoon and it did curl at the ends but the note on it said I can use a blow dryer so I figured I'd put a couple heavy things on the end to flatten and use the blow dryer later on that night. By then the curls were already flattened so I didn't need to use the blow dryer. There was still a few ripples in it but I figured I'll wait to see if they go down too which by the next morning they were gone. I am really glad I went with this. It looks good (better in person than in my pics), it's thick enough to be sturdy, and it doesn't slide which I was worried about. My kids already made slime while sitting at the table earlier, so lucky me I got to test out cleaning a big mess on the cover within the first 24 hrs. There was many pieces of both tiny and big slime globs that were stuck to it, wet baking soda, about 9 shades of food coloring, and last but not least, mass amounts of smeared glue all over it. I said to myself, if the cover can be easy to clean after all this, I'm confident it can handle pretty much anything, and it was easy to clean and looked brand new again after! I was going to wait a few days to review but I think I can confidently say I love it and am so glad I got it. This is a long review so if you made it through, congrats! I read the reviews but nothing had me completely sold and for $80 I wanted to read stuff that had me feeling confident, so since I didn't get to feel that, I figured the least I can do is leave a thorough review for the next person in my shoes.

The protector has served its purpose but it was extremely difficult to get the 2 ends to flatten out and stay flat. Ending up cutting about 4 inches off of each side.

This is my third table protector from OstepDecor, and I couldn't be happier. This piece easily unrolled and settled within a day, and looks and protects my furniture, like glass. It’s not too thick or too thin. Quality is amazing. I chose the crystal clear and it looks beautiful on my table. No odd odors upon opening. Very happy with this table protector

It is thinner and floppier, and not a stiff board like than the item that is pictured. However, it is too thick to cut easily to the exact length and width of my table.

Watch my video. I expected this to arrive as a solid sheet, instead it arrived tightly rolled up. I don't think the ripples will ever come out, even after ironing. In hindsight I wished I had bought the 2mm (I bought the 1.5mm). I put a warm plate on it and it indented the plastic immediately. I considered sending it back but I do like the size match, and it does protect my table, and it's a good price point compared to glass, so I am keeping it.

Bought this to keep the table cleaner. It is very easy to clean and keeps the tablecloth in place. If you place hotter items on the plastic it becomes cloudy.
