Yes that should be fine. It is thin enough to be stapled.

How is the foil stuck to the inside of a metal garage door?

I used spray glue to attach the foil to a metal surface. Spray hidden side of foil and sections of the door that will be covered by the foil. Leave glue to dry for 2 mins then press foil onto metal surface. Instantly and permanently sticks. Be careful when applying the foil as it gets messy if you have to peel it off.

is it ok to cut this product to fit the space?

Yip. I cut it into sections and taped to my garage door.

Can this be use as sound proof for shed workshop

Maybe not it’s not very thick I used for insulation shed walls & ceiling & can’t say I noticed any difference in noise from outside
