Herstat Cold Sore Care Ointment Fast Symptom Relief with 3% Propolis 2g

Ok, so only used this product on one occasion, this past week, but the improvement in healing time has been remarkable. Had an outbreak of 7 cold sores around mouth and nose, alongside a nasty flu bug. Usually healing could take weeks, be very painful, frequent cracking, bleeding scabbing, even get infected. Leaving reddened skin, sometimes taking months to heal. Not so this time. I did 2 things differently. I rested, literally couldn't do anything due to the flu wiping me out. The other thing was using Herstat ointment. I bought it back in Feb (now August) and forgot I had it. My expectations were low. This outbreak/blisters popped on Mon/Tues. It's now Sunday and the healing speed has been remarkable. I'm at a stage it usually takes 2 or 3 weeks to get to. No dry, cracked, sore bleeding scabs. No infections. I'm amazed. Definitely buying more and trying the lip balm and suppliments. The ointment is soothing, feels soothing. It actually feels like putting honey on and smells natural (thank you bees). Possibly purists would advocate pure honey? Only a small amount is needed, it spreads a long way and lasts on the skin for hours, unless your blowing your nose frequently, which I have been. And I'm really run down with the virus, so feared a protracted healing stage. Which makes me even more incredulous at how effective it has been. I thought maybe the sort of oily stickiness of it's consistency would delay scabs healing, but it's speeded it up. Scabs have healed without becoming dry and bleeding. Who knew this could happen. One on centre of my lips which was incredibly painful and in such an awkward place hasn't split open. I have applied it frequently and prob got through most of a tube, but well worth the expense. I am blown away. I hope it continues to be as effective with healing future outbreaks.

This stuff is amazing 4 days in, my cold sores just under my bottom lip where so painful as soon as this stuff arrived it soothed, moisturised and stopped the soreness. Felt a slight tingle after putting the stuff on but it was a nice feeling not painful more relief. 100% would buy this again, even planning on just keeping one in my first aid box as a back up just incase I don’t get them often. But this stuff best I have ever used, pleased I did a bit of research and checked reviews before purchasing always a bit sceptical glad you went for it though.

Best cold sore cream ever used! I only ever get a sore approx once every 18 months but when I do it spreads from my lip up to my nose, is extremely obvious to myself and everyone and doesn't completely heal for about a month leaving me with a small scar that lasts too. This cream nipped everything in the bud, stopped the spreading of sore to my lip, remained only under my nose, didn't get angry looking or was painful at all. I've been using it for four full days and the sore is healing so well. I never bother with reviews but am so thrilled with how this has helped felt I needed to. The tube is very small and I've ordered a new one. I will order another to have ready for the next time to start immediately. It is more expensive than other creams but absolutely feel it's been money well spent!

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It doesn’t have a nasty or strong smell to it and it feels nice on your lips. I applied it daily and have noticed a huge improvement in my cold sore after a week. I used to suffer with them for about 2 weeks but this time it has healed so fast. Will definitely be buying more. 100% recommend

Brought 1 and thought it was fabulous but I had bad out brake and needed another tube as there very small? I think the cream had dried out because I only used it 2 time and was all gone. I did order another one tho as it was doing wonders the first time. But nearly £30!! Not cheap

Had this delivered the morning after my cold sore appeared. I applied it between 4 and 5 times a day. 4 days later and it’s scabbed over and reduced drastically in size. The pain and tingling subsided after the first couple of applications. Would definitely recommend!

This cream stops my cold sores in its tracks every single time. And if one has already developed (because I have not noticed and not put the cream on) - it disappears in no time. Never had a better cold sore product. 4 stars as it’s very expensive for the amount you get in the tube

This was the first time purchasing this product and I purchased out of desperation. I usually only got 1-3 cold sores a year. I got one and thought I'd try Abreva as I'd never used it before. It didn't really seem to affect the sore one way or the other but just after that sore healed, I still had the redness though, symptoms of another sore started! I immediately started using Abreva at the first sign of a new sore but it did nothing to stop the outbreak. That sore healed- still redness of this one, then again immediately another sore erupted! I have never in my life had the three cold sore outbreaks back to back. I started wondering if the Abreva had something to do with it so I started searching the internet for similar cases like mine of Abreva users and to my surprise, there are others who feel Abreva made their outbreak worse or even brought on more outbreaks. I don't understand how or why this is possible. Fed up and embarrassed of the repeated outbreaks, I found this product on Amazon and started using it on the last cold sore. I don't know that it healed it any faster because it was close to the end stages of healing anyway but since then, I've been almost paranoid at any tingly feeling on my lip, I apply this ointment and nothing ever appears. Since using this, I've had no more cold sores. Coincidence? I don't know but since throwing the Abreva out and keeping this ointment along with the chapstick style of this ointment, I've not had any cold sores. I'm sold!

BEYOND AMAZING!!! I did not think I would find something this good! I am 46. And this is only my 2nd cold sore EVER!!!! Within 30 mins you could tell a difference! My coworkers were even shocked! It a miracle! And a healthier version of the over the counter remedies!!!!!

Never have I ever written a review on Amazon. However, this product is amazing. I know everyone is raving but the hype is real. I’m one of the lucky people that gets a cold sore under my nose. I saw it forming on a Sunday, went on Amazon and saw this had amazing reviews, and I received it Tuesday. In ONE DAY I’ve seen a dramatic difference. I don’t even think it’s going to get crusty since I put this product on it. Since it’s below my nose and normally very small, this product is going to last. If you’re looking for another solution, give this a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it. Edit: I agree with everyone about the amount of product. The tube is half empty. It works, but it’s expensive as hell for the amount of product.

I love this product because it definitely works! I also love the lip care stick that comes with it. My problem with it is the size of the container of the lip protectant. I use it regularly and it doesn’t last very long so I have to keep ordering more. It would be great if you would make a larger size! Thanks!
