It was thrown into a standard box with no packaging to protect it from the being thrown from pillar to post in what ever transport was used, the box was bashed and torn and open along where the tape is supposed to be it looked like it had been stamped on as well. I have heard stories where workers have tore open packages to see what is in them and this was open to the world. So the only thing that I can say to Amazon is retrain your staff in the packaging department on how to put items into boxes properly and securely tape the boxes so that they don't become a target for opportunists.The Scooter was not that pricey but that is not the point it would have been very upsetting if I had just handed the box over without looking inside to see that everything was OK and in order.
