Kitten Cones After Surgery 0-6 Months, Donut Extra Small Cone Collar

I’m so happy to have found these on Amazon. My 3.8 pound teacup Pomeranian is having her spay in a couple weeks and I was trying to find a solution for the basic cone typically used after surgery to parent kicking surgery area. She does not like the cone and tried to get it off (I tested it to see how she would react in a cone). I tried this collar today and she didn’t seem to mind it or go crazy running around the house trying to pull it off. It fits her perfectly and is a soft fabric. Seems comfortable and seems that it will be easier for my Pom to sleep and move around with it after surgery. I like the adjustable elastic band around the neck. Easy to take on and off. What a great alternative to the cone. Fingers crossed it will last the 10 days she will need to keep it on. I will be getting a back up one just in case! Functional and super cute!

Fits my 2lbs kitten perfectly following his surgery. He absolutely hated the plastic cone the vet gave, but wearing this doesn't seem uncomfortable for him at all. I love that it keeps him safe while also being so soft that he can use it as a pillow

This works FANTASTIC for our new kitty we adopted, she got spayed by the shelter and I couldn't find a cone small enough for her little head and neck. It doesn't weigh her down. She can move, use the bathroom, play, eat and drink. She was a little like "what the heck" at first but she got very used to it very fast. Easy to clean (I did delicate cycle for the washer just incase), looks adorable on her, and I love the adjustable strap to make it tighter or more loose. For reference she's 2.0 Ibs exactly.

I love this much better than a cone. My kitten is 12 wks weights 3.9lbs and she has no problem eating or drinking. This isnt super big, size wise but just enough to prevent her from rubbing her eye. She only wears it for an hour after receiving her eye ointment and while I feel more comfortable with this, I still supervise. To tighten it there is a bit of string that hangs down, and she has tried to eat it. While I can get it tight...she can squeeze a leg under if she tries hard enough, thus why I am supervising. She does have a sister that plays with her, so a singleton situation in a small confined area might he different. She can very easily drink and eat. Her vision isnt obstructed like with a cone. Happy with this for my kittens current need.

I got this for my kitten who I adopted one day after he got neutered. The vet didn’t provide a cone and he started going at the surgical area since there was excess glue left on his skin. since I had just adopted him and he was coming from a pretty bad situation, I wanted to make sure that he wasn’t more uncomfortable than absolutely necessary so I got this and was pleasantly surprised! It’s very soft and easy to put on, I was worried about it, squeezing his face and neck too much, but it didn’t at all! It was easy to remove and on top of it I get to see this itty-bitty kitten look absolutely adorable in the process. I was skeptical because of the price and how quickly it came, but I was quickly proven wrong. My only recommendation with this is to make sure that your cat can clear their litter box so you may need to get a pan with lower walls for a bit just so that they don’t get stuck and end up having an accident if they get too stressed. All cones have this issue though so I wouldn’t let this turn you away from buying this product.

Purchased this for my petite kitten after seeing how miserable she was with the oversized plastic cone from the vet. This allowed her to eat, sleep, and use the litter without issues. Her vision was not blocked, and because she had full vision, she was way more calm with it on. The only reason I gave this a 3-star review is that she was able to chew on the rope that tightens the neck no matter which side it was put on.I would still recommend and purchase this product if I ever needed to.

Kittens were able to eat and drink on their own with these donuts. Much more comfortable for their sleeping also.

I ordered this for my male foster kitten who is getting neutered tomorrow. It fits him perfectly and will be much more comfortable for him than the cones they use at the surgery center. It’s definitely effective to keep him from licking at his stitches after surgery. I put it on him to wear for an hour just to get him used to it. He was able to run, play, and eat without issue. He could even run through his tunnel without getting caught on anything. My one concern is the string that hangs down after tightening. For now I will be sticking it into the collar but need to find a permanent solution so he can’t get it caught on anything.

This worked very well and was much better than the plastic cone as our cat was so tiny the cone would have not fit her. It also didn't seems as uncomfortable as the plastic cone would have been.

I was disappointed with the overall workmanship of this soft Elizabethan collar. The shape is quite uneven, and the seams along the edges appear poorly finished. As shown, the stitching is irregular and some areas look loosely constructed, which makes the product feel roughly made rather than well-crafted. Unfortunately, the quality does not meet my expectations.

While it took a bit to get it on my kittens, I am so glad I persevered, because they both wore this like champs. They weren’t able to lick their parts that they weren’t supposed too. They were able to eat and drink. They weren’t bumping into the walls and getting stuck! No problem with the litter box either! A great buy!

Traditional recovery cone was not happening with our kitten after her spay procedure. Having used a soft recovery collar before decided to give this a try after reading the reviews & it worked perfect! She seemed comfortable & it doubled as a pillow for her cat naps. The best part is she could eat, drink, sleep & use the litter box with no trouble at all. Bonus is she hasn’t been able to escape the collar & it’s washable! Definitely recommend!!

This is a cute alternative to a cone. My kitten was neutered and he kept pulling the cone right off. The only downside I’ve noticed is that if he sits a certain way, he can reach the incision but luckily he isn’t really interested in it.
