Will it work on all lap tops

I would think so, I have tried it on three different lap tops to include a Surface

I’m right handed but the Port is one the left side will it still work

I don't understand your question, but if it helps, it works the same as any wireless mouse. I haven't found the location of the port makes a difference with any mouse I have used.
