Advance Dispenser Spare Tray Kit

Though somewhat tricky to programme soon got the hang of it. Potential problems are down to the user. First thing we found was that our patient could see the half section of next dose when system advanced half a space to lock, convinced she needed to take these she attacked the machine with a letter opener and got the hatch cover off and was about to take next tablets very early, but we caught her. The hatch simply clicked back in to place. To mitigate this in future I covered the hatch cover with carefully trimmed white PVC adhesive tape (don't allow it to 'snag'). I'm also glad we went for the opaque top lid as she cannot actually see the rest of loads. Next problem was she developed a habit of 'playing' with the dispenser, which caused a 'jam' when it tried to move on. Another thing to be aware of is at one point she was convinced the display was telling her she had '6 More' to take - the was the date display of 6 Mar! In view of ongoing unease with her confusion and her clumsiness with dispensing and turning far enough to get the confirmation double bleep we decided to also purchase the dispenser tipper unit. This we hope has minimised potential problems to a reasonable level and she also finds operation much easier.

Easy to fill, fabulous 'how to" videos. And works brilliantly. So simple to set up, and even easier to use. My mum ( who has Parkinson's and dementia , and is a total technophobe) loves it, calls it her carrousel. We would be lost without it. I purchased spare trays to fill them in readiness for a quick change over, and the tipper which seemed very expensive until i see mum use it...Childs play,

Essential for refills as I can have another cartridge prepped and ready to insert into my mam' machine. Couple of dislikes, there could be more of the circular cards and I would like a spare plastic cover incase (as will inevitably happen) the one it comes breaks. The paper cards can also jump position when removing the plastic cover so you may need to tape these down to prevent them from moving.

Well worth the price. For someone that was always forgetting to take tablets not missed them once since purchasing. It also acts as a alarm clock to get me up for work

Perfect for enabling you to prepare your weekly medications in advance. My husband has dementia and so we rely on the Pivotell Advance Dispenser to remind him when to take his medication. I bought 3 additional trays, with lids, that enable me to prepare his meds for 4 weeks at a time. Such a time saver and they stack easily. Highly recommended. Also, excellent delivery.
