I should've replaced this replacement remote control years ago I got this one in 2022. Because it's been a headache throughout. I now realize this after purchasing a new replacement remote that functions way better. This was a crappy product. There was a delay between pressing the buttons and corresponding actions on the TV. It made for a very poor "watching TV" experience. The volume buttons are on the side and sometimes don't register between increasing, decreasing or muting the volume. I have to press the buttons hard to navigate the screen. What made me replace it this year was a weird oily substance that formed on it. I did have the remote encased in a rubber case for better grip and to find in the dark. But I doubt it caused the substance to build up on the remote. Very weird.
