The grains came well packed and healthy, along with a helpful guide on how to care for them. They also sent a strainer and spoon as mentioned in the description. The grains are growing well and producing delicious kefir. If you're serious about kefir making as a hobby, Id recommend purchasing grains from these guys. Though be aware that you will need to take care of them appropriately to see the best results.

The Grains don't seem to be effective, as even after 24 hours, the milk hasn't yet set into KEFIR, as it happened when I obtained grains from Sour House, Koramangala, Bangalore! Even after 60 hr, the milk has very lightly set. Would you now supply a new batch of Grains?

There are no basic instructions on how to get started with making the first consumable batch. The only instructions came in a very thick SEALED plastic bag (REALLY!) that you have to cut open with scissors if you have one around otherwise good luck. The booklet in it has all kinds of Q&A's with scattered information as to how to make the first consumable batch after conditioning & adapting the grains a few time. On top of that the print is so small on the booklet that even with glasses people would need a magnifying glass to read. They keep mentioning the video but it's no where to be found and even on their web site they have third party general kefir information videos. Their website has information on everything else in the world on Kefir including Dr. Mandell's video but no straight forward instructions on how get started right away for such a sensitive product. How ridiculous is that they could have simply put 5-6 line basic clear instructions for the first few batches on the Amazon page itself instead of making customers waste so much time go through their unorganized booklet and web site for such an expensive product. Very poor user experience.
