Ugly's Electric Motors and Controls

This is a good pocket reference book for motors. I am an electrical engineer and keep it in my desk drawer for quick reference. I have larger books with more information, but this usually has enough information. I also have the Ugly's Electrical Desk Reference. Between the two they answer 90% of my questions. Both of these books are based on the NEC 2008 code.

I am an electrical training instructor for a nuclear facility. This book is extremely helpful when developing lesson plans. I spent over 40 years working with my tools before becoming a teacher. And have a copy of several of the ugly's books in the tool box. A good quick accurate reference for electricians.

I would say most of the info is kind of basic for anyone who went to school for electronics. But its nice to have this kind of info in one place and in a compact book.

In my opinion, every bit as good as Ugly's Electrical References. Ugly's Electric Motors and Controls is a very handy little book. Good for reference, or if you just need to "brush-up" or refresh your knowledge of motors and controls. I am very happy with this purchase.

I work on all types of electrical systems, and like this handy book in my tool pouch, it helps me to speed up me decisions.

I use this thing often, it's a great reference to a large amount of material that you may not use often, or forget easily. The Marine Corps colors are a nice touch as well, you know, for the ladies.

Great reference book, is a small package so it's easy to carry and use when needed. Tons of information at your fingertips when needing to figure out a motor problem or computation for installation. Very Handy.

This is a great book to read to learn maintenance. My husband got it to study for a maintenance test to get into maintenance. The book was in great condition, and a well used learning instrument. Thanks for the great book.
