How long does it take liquid invisible stitch to dry?

Not really sure; can't remember what the instructions said, but I just let it sit overnight. Still holding with 5 trips 400 miles north.

Can I repair a tear on a oil painting canvas?

The way to repair an oil or acrylic painting is to place a canvas patch or thick cotton fabric on it, in the back of painting with Elmer's glue. Maybe Gesso if Gesso will hold. Clean any excess glue off the front of the painting with warm water if it goes through to the other side and allow to dry. Done. Now, if you want it to look really nice, touch up that spot with a little extra paint on the front. If you're not aren't too artsy fartsy inclined, I would find somebody who is. More than likely, you're going to have to mix at least three primary colors at minimum unless there is a solid original primary color or black or white there.
