Used this for over 5 years now and it’s great! Gives you a nice subtle glowy tan. Doesn’t cling to dry areas and create patches. And smells good too !

The apricot scent masks the fake tan smell well. While it doesn’t eliminate the odour completely, I find it much more tolerable than the cocoa butter-scented gradual tans, which seem to mingle with the fake tan smell and almost amplify it. For me, it's the perfect WFH tan that doesn't give me a headache or feel too sticky or heavy. It is easy to apply every other day or reapply throughout the day and shower off in the evenings ready for the weekend. It also leaves my sensitive skin feeling so soft and moisturised that I’ve actually bought a non-tanning moisturiser from the Garnier range for the in-between days. As someone with super sensitive skin, I've had zero issues with this routine. A possible downside is that the tan isn't as dark as some mousse tans, but it's almost always flawless—unless I mess up! It's great for adding a little extra glow on top of a natural tan in the summer and adding a bit of colour during the winter months.

After a rough year health-wise, I missed out on most of the summer sunshine. Thankfully I’m on the mend now, but my skin clearly didn’t get the memo — especially my legs. I’m in the gym most days, usually in shorts, and between the lack of sun and the dry, dull skin, I decided it was time to do something about it. A bit of colour wouldn’t hurt. It arrived the next day with Prime — always a bonus — but when I opened the bottle, I was hit with a scent that stopped me in my tracks. Wow. I can’t sugarcoat it — the smell was pungent. To me, it’s not pleasant at all, and it seemed to cling to my hands even after washing. I even tried to return it, only to discover it’s one of those non-returnable products. Not one to give up easily, I decided to improvise. I grabbed a pair of disposable latex gloves (the kind I normally use when prepping food), jumped in the shower, and after drying off, applied a thin line of the moisturiser down each leg. I took my time working it in, making sure it was evenly spread and absorbed properly — the texture is rich but not overly greasy, and after a few minutes, it left a slightly tacky finish. The next morning, I was honestly shocked — in a good way. My legs were smooth, the dry skin had completely disappeared, and the colour... well, it looked like I’d just come back from a two-week beach holiday. Not orange, not streaky — just a healthy, natural glow. Even better, the results lasted. I didn’t reapply for over a week, and the colour only began to fade around day eight. The moisturising effect lasted even longer — my legs still felt hydrated and looked far healthier than before. So, while I’m still not a fan of the strong smell, I can’t deny the impressive performance of this product. It does exactly what it promises — hydrates dry skin and builds a beautiful, gradual tan without fuss. If you can get past the scent (or use gloves like I did), this is genuinely a fantastic moisturiser with the added bonus of a natural-looking tan. Highly recommended — it’s a lot of sunshine in a bottle for the price.

This is a fantastic low cost product to develop a gradual natural looking fake tan. Perfect pre holiday where you dont want to turn up looking like the newbie on the beach. I am naturally fair skinned and do not want to lie out in the sun all day as prone to burning so developing this natural look is the perfect compromise. The application of this is easy and it doesn’t have that awful fake tan smell.

Absolutely love this product leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft and a subtle peach scent. Builds up nicely after a few applications and lasts for weeks. Colour is not patchy (as long as you prep the skin via exfoliating). This is a staple in my bathroom highly recommended!

Mixed feelings on this stuff, I absolutely loathe seeing folk with orange, patchy skin because they haven't followed the instructions, couldn't be bothered or just botched the process completely. I followed the instructions to the letter, I made sure every bit was rubbed in, and every bit of my skin was evenly covered by doing sections at a time. I washed my hands thoroughly afterwards and not a word of a lie I still came out patchy and my hands looked like I'd dipped them in carrot juice for a month!! It's orangey and so unrealistic. But the patches just make it look even more noticeable and it wasn't for my lack of attention to detail. I couldn't have been more precise but it still came out bad. They get three stars for the smell alone, it's absolutely beautiful but I'm not prepared to go out like I've been tangoed.

Mit Garnier kann man eigentlich nichts falsch machen, es riecht gut, lässt sich gut verteilen und es gibt keine Flecken, allerdings ist das relativ teuer selbst für die Größe.

I've been using this for over a year now and get so many compliments. In the winter I use it 1-2x per week to have a touch of color on my face and neck. In the summer I use it every other day. There is no streaking, it doesn't look orange, it doesn't stink and it moisturizes so well. It's a white lotion when it goes on and it gradually builds a tan as the day goes on. I can't recommend it enough!
