A: 53 inches.  Perfect for me.  Large and Light weight and no heavy iron rest that I didn’t want

**Q: What iron board can l use to sit down and iron**
A: All Minky Ironing boards feature a height adjustment mechanism that allows them to be adjusted low enough to be seated. We don’t recommend this though as having your legs under the board when using a steam iron could be dangerous.

**Q: how do I use the pink rubber pad that came with the ironing board**
A: The black piece on the end of the pink rubber just clips over the end of the board where you stand your iron. to be honest I have never used it .Haven’t needed too .Hope this helps
