This was definitely one of those, independent online reviews are slim to non-existent but I looked at the Amazon reviews and bought it (with fingers crossed). Happily I have to say, this tiny little amplifier works great (with a pair of old floor standing speakers I had). Bluetooth works well if you're in the same room, it won't really work through walls. Sound is clear (don't change the EQ setting though), loud enough, simple to operate. Remote is a fairly basic plastic affair, but does the job.
