Dualshock Controller Glacier White (PS4)

If you are looking for a good quality controller than look know further as the Dualshock 4 is brilliant far better than its predecessor as instead of the mushroom analog sticks the DS4 sticks are concave to allow better grip. Another great feature of the DS4 is the anolog stick, which were problem for the DS3 but on the DS4 they are perfectly formed allowing for better and more accurate shooting. The touch pad is good for games such as Assassins creed as I find it the best way to navigate the map, though at the moment most games don't utilize it. Of course the start and select button have been replaced by share and options. I have found myself recording footage only to be found I wasn't this is due to Sony allow developers block users from recorded certain parts of game to avoid spoilers on the internet. That is why I recommend anyone thinking of trying to record videos more efficiently to wait for a compatible recorder to come on the market (*and for Sony to allow them to be used). Best controller out there for PC. I was using a wired Xbox 360 controller with my PC for about 3 months, when i discovered you could use the PS4 via Bluetooth. This is a huge benefit for me as i like to play games on my bed. When i received the controller it didn't come with a USB cable. This wasn't an issue because i was using the controllers Bluetooth capabilities. To get the controller working, I had to use Third party software called DS4 windows. This was very easy to set up and i was playing games within minutes. The look and feel of DS4 controller is a huge improvement over the DS3. It felt sturdier and has a bit more weight to it. In my opinion this gave it a higher quality feel over the DS3. Overall the DS4 has an improved look and feel over the DS3 and i would recommend this product to anyone who wants to use a controller with their PC.

I got this to replace my xbox 260 controller because the wire had frayed almost completely off. I wanted a wireless one, considered waiting for the steam controller, and wireless support for the xbox one controller, but needed an immediate replacemant, fancied a change from the xbox style and really liked the ps controllers of old so went for this. I am very pleased i did. I am running WIN 8.1 and using InputMapper as a software bridge to get the controller working flawlessly with all the games i have tried. InputMapper is free to download and makes the DS4 work just like a 360 controller. The buttons all work to the same configuration of the 360's so no confusing button presses, and InputMapper lets you fully configure anyway. There are several different software programs that you can download to get the controller working but I use this one. I didn't have to set anything up, just plug and play out of the box! This controller feels very solid and responsive, looks great, the battery time is fine for numerous extended sessions. All you need to either charge or connect via a wire to your pc if you choose to is the same wire that you use to charge your mobile phone. The controller can be charged with a mobile charger, or while plugged into the pc with just the usb cable that the mobile charger uses. (I have a BlackBerry usb cable). Overall, I would highly recommend this DS4 controller for PC use. I also installed the release of WIN 10 and he controller worked perfectly with that also. (Games I tried the controller on: through Steam: Remember Me; Enslaved: Odessey To The West; Transistor; Blade Kitten; Sega: Streets of Rage 2; Batman Arkham City GOTY; Shantae Risky's Revenge). They all worked gret! Also, the trackpad works very well and the click seems to operate as a right click, but this can possibly be edited to be left also.

would not connect to PlayStation. un -sure why. could not send back, as missed returns date. (was a gift) delivery was fast.

Love my PS4 controller, I've owned it since 2014 and it still works as it did when it was brand new. I use it exclusively with my Windows 7 Laptop for gaming (usually via a third party program like InputMapper). - Extremely comfortable to hold - Analogue sticks are easy to grip without being uncomfortable - Buttons easy to reach with fingers - Touch surface on top can work as a mouse/laptop touch pad - Light in the hand - Easy to clean It is a big step up from my Wired Xbox 360 controller in the sense that it has more comfortable triggers and bumpers, and a more accurate directional pad (harder to accidentally hit a wrong key). Quality controller, lots going on. The touch pad works very well, the updated thumb paddles work very well and are a lot more responsive and very comfortable. New designed triggers also feel fantastic. The whole thing just feels so much better than the PS3 version. Build quality seems to be okay, very sturdy however... The only reason I have not given this five stars is that I have noticed a creek in the plastic where the rumble mechanism is contained (inside the left grip). Every now and again I feel it creek and it is slightly annoying. Shame as I thought I was unlucky, but I have a blue version and this one does it too. So... 90% build quality. Apart from that its excellent and would recommend it.

I'm highly biased towards the dualshock family of controllers so keep that in mind: This is my favourite casual controller, fits my hand and it feels satisfying to use with a pleasing finish and enough of the original style to bring up nostalgia for the good old days. Thumbsticks could be a tad stiffer though. I use it with my PC, however some games just don't play nice (despite having controller support) but there are third party apps that give you a smoother experience. It remains pricey, in my opinion but 2nd hand prices are reasonable.

Compré este mando por el sencillo motivo de que el color rojo es mi favorito. No es que el mando negro no me guste, de hecho creo que es muy elegante y me encanta, pero siempre he tenido debilidad por este color; aparte de esto no veo otro motivo por el que comprarlo porque es un poco más caro que el negro (por suerte no tanto como con el modelo gris clásico). La calidad es exactamente la misma y cuando lo tienes en la mano impresiona, más que nada porque es un choque de color en un mando que siempre ha sido monocromático. Si tienes hermanos o hijos que se pelean por los mandos, tenerlos de dos colores es una buena idea, así cada uno sabe que debe cuidar el suyo y no se pelean.

Optisch Toll und auch in der Gesamtverarbeitung sehr gut! Habe ihn nur als zweiten Controller zugelegt und nun schon mehrmals in Benutzung gehabt. Beim ersten schwarzen Controller kann damals nach kurzer Zeit bei den Schultertasten ab und zu ein leises quietschen, was sich dann nach mehreren Wochen wieder verabschiedete. Bei dem weißen Controller kam es nicht zu diesen kurzzeitigen Geräuschen, was auch daran liegen könnte das man die Produktionsweise bei Sony seit der Einführung der ps4 verbessert hat. PS: Wie bei allen Controllern reibt man nach intensiven Spielen die angerauhte Fläche der Analogsticks glatt, was auch normal ist. Aber damit es bei schwitzenden Händen nicht rutschig wird empfehle ich die Kunststoffaufsätze von Speedlink. Hatte mir die Speedlink Stix (4 Paare mit je 4 Farben) dazu bestellt und sie werden einfach auf die Analogsticks gedrückt und lassen sich auch leicht entfernen. Sie bieten eine stachlig rauhe, aber gute Fläche mit soliden Grip und verrutschen auch nicht ;) Update vom 07.04.2015 !!! - Bisher keine Störungen oder große Abnutzung des Controllers trotz Dauernutzung! - Auch bei Spielen wie Minecraft wo die Schulltertasten zu 90% (platzieren und abbauen der Objekte) der Zeit benutzt werden gab es keine Mängel (bei einigen Controllern gingen ja schon nach kurzer Zeit mal die Schultertatsen kaputt, anscheinend ein Produktionsfehler von in einem bestimmten Zeitraum und in einer bestimmten Fabrik hergestellten Controllern). - Bisher bin ich mit dem weißen Controller mehr als zufrieden ;)

I love it because it’s original control but it’s expensive

Meiner Meinung nach ist der Dualshock 4 eine geniale weiterentwicklung des Dualshock 3 Controllers und sogar der beste Controller aller Konsolen bis jetzt finde ich. Liegt perfekt in der Hand, bei den Schulterntasten kann man nicht mehr abrutschen und mit den Analogsticks nicht mehr mit den Daumenzusammen kommen. Außerdem hat man sehr guten Halt an den Analogsticks. Tastendruck ist super. Das Touchfeld ist einfach nur genial und wird in Spielen sehr gut eingesetzt. Die LED Leuchte gefällt mir auch sieht einfach cool aus, auch wenn sie nach einiger Zeit kaum noch auffällt oder irgendwie wichtig wäre für mich. Der einzige negative Kritikpunkt von mir ist die relativ geringe Akkuleistung, hier ist es sogar ein Rückschritt zum PS3 Controller, sehr sehr sehr schade. Der PS3 Controller hält definitv länger als der PS4 Controller. Trotzdem gebe ich volle Punktzahl da der Controller ansonsten einfach perfekt ist und mir am besten gefällt.

Ich war anfangs zwischen dem 2016er Modell und dem in Steel Black hin- und hergerissen. Ich entschied mich für letzteren, da mir das übliche schwarz zu langweilig und die anderen Farben zu bunt waren. Der Unterschied zwischen 2016 und nicht-2016 ist (abgesehen von ein paar farblich leicht helleren Knöpfen) einzig die Lichtleiste, welche nun durch einen Schlitz auch von oben sichtbar ist. Nützt mir persönlich wenig, da ich beim zocken nicht auf den Controller schaue. Die Farbe sieht einfach mega geil aus und das Gerät fühlt sich sogar ein klein wenig rauer an, als der alte (schwarze). Kann auch an der leichten Abnutzung des alten liegen. Die Akkulaufzeit ist eher schwach... Das wusste ich allerdings vorher schon. Jetzt kann ich aber, wenn der eine leer ist, ganz easy den zweiten nehmen. Akkulaufzeit quasi verdoppelt.
