DO EPIC SHIT made you think. GET EPIC SHIT DONE will make you act! When he was a college student, Ankur bought a book containing answers to the last 10 yearsโ question papers. That book helped him prepare for the forthcoming exams. In his second book, he attempts to create the same book for life. Written as a conversation between a student and a teacher, GET EPIC SHIT DONE answers 36 life questions that you face almost everyday, questions that you need answers to. GET EPIC SHIT DONE isnโt just a book that will inspire you โ it will visibly improve the way you live. Review: "Get Epic Shit Done: A Must-Read Guide to Achieving Your Goals" - I recently had the pleasure of reading "Get Epic Shit Done" by Ankur Warikoo, and I must say, it's one of the best self-help books I've come across in recent times. The book is a comprehensive guide to achieving one's goals and fulfilling one's dreams, and it provides actionable advice that anyone can implement to get ahead in life. One of the things I appreciate about this book is that it doesn't sugarcoat anything. Warikoo acknowledges that achieving success is hard work, but he also emphasizes the importance of staying focused and disciplined. He provides practical tips for staying motivated, setting realistic goals, and creating a plan to achieve them. The book is well-organized, and each chapter builds on the previous one, so it's easy to follow along. Warikoo's writing style is engaging and relatable, and he uses examples from his own life to illustrate his points. The book is also peppered with inspiring quotes from famous figures, which serve as a reminder that success is possible with hard work and perseverance. What sets "Get Epic Shit Done" apart from other self-help books is its emphasis on taking action. Warikoo doesn't just talk about the importance of setting goals and creating a plan, he also provides strategies for overcoming obstacles and staying on track. He encourages readers to take responsibility for their own success and to stay committed to their goals, no matter what challenges they may face. Overall, I highly recommend "Get Epic Shit Done" to anyone looking to achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams. It's a practical, no-nonsense guide that will inspire and motivate you to take action and get results. If you're ready to get serious about your success, this book is a must-read! Review: Highly accessible and informal. - The book is structured as a dialogue between a curious student and a seasoned mentor, echoing the Socratic methodโprovoking thought through guided questioning. This informal, conversational tone makes the book highly accessible, especially to younger readers or early professionals. Here are three instances that highlight this style: 1. On Choosing a Career: โข Student: โHow do I know if Iโve chosen the right career path?โ โข Warikoo: โYou donโt. You experiment and observe how you feel when you wake up every dayโฆ Itโs not a one-time decision but a continuous exploration.โ 2. On Dealing with Fear of Judgment: โข Student: โWhy am I so scared of what others will think?โ โข Warikoo: โBecause you were raised to value external validation. But ask yourselfโwho are โtheyโ? Do their opinions really impact your goals?โ 3. On Productivity: โข Student: โHow do I become more productive?โ โข Warikoo: โBy managing your energy, not your time. Start with one habit that gives you energy, and drop one that drains it.โ These examples show how each answer doesnโt just provide a motivational quote, but unpacks the studentโs mindset and offers actionable advice grounded in self-awareness.

Highly recommended to everyone!
I liked from the book: The chapter on Writing our thoughts talks about how we pick only important ones as process of writing is slower than thinking and we want to capture only the best ones which later tells us about our priority. He also helps understand power of listening over anything else for being a good communicator. While taking decisions, thinking if we can bear the worst-case is something that can change life of many people fearful of taking decisions. I liked where it is explained how we have to deal with criticism from family members by separating the GIVER and what is GIVEN as criticism. Amazing advice that can help students and people in their 20s develop healthy relationship with their family. Nicely elaborated the difference between reading and watching videos. How reading enables complete focus whereas video ensures we are distracted by something regularly. I am glad Warikoo always promotes reading books. What a right career looks like is such a wonderful diagram to understand how to choose our career even if we want to convert our passion into it. You need to get the book to view the diagram, of course. In the chapter about how to handle first 90 days in a job, Warikoo gives a very great advice to engage with people on personal level so that it becomes easier to then deal on professional level. This is a tried and tested thing even by yours truly. It works. Living by ourselves and the factors that comes with it such as investing money, managing relationships, disciplined lifestyle, paying bill taxes etc. Talking about the drawbacks โ well, the book doesnโt have any but, in this case, Warikoo has. Haha! Because he has been so much active on Social media almost through all the platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Newsletters etc. that there is very less that he has still not talked about. Hence, if you have been his follower like me, youโll realize that 70% of what has been written has already been shared by him on Social media. Like, he has announced that his next book is going to be about โMake Epic Moneyโ. Now, he has already created multiple financial videos that I doubt the book will have anything new. His content is facing his own contents as its enemy now. Haha! Overall, I give this book 4.75* out of 5. Highly recommended to everyone! Thanks! - PRANJAL JOSHI

A must buy!
Read this book immediately after Do Epic Shit. It felt only the right thing to do. And I loved it. I genuinely did. It is in a different format, with questions and answers. Where each chapter ends with, "The teacher has appeared." It simply meant that the student understood the topic and was ready to take on the journey. It is a beautiful book filled with all the mundane questions we face but never deep dive into them. We never think twice because we are so busy running and achieving our goals and results. We forget to enjoy the journey. Pausing and reflecting are the core of any journey, a necessity. It helps move in the right direction and becomes like a guiding star. I especially loved the topics where Ankur speaks about becoming your best friend and creating boundaries. Maybe because I am myself in that stage of life, learning to love myself unconditionally and drawing boundaries. They are important. Overall, this book will help you in whatever phase of life you are in! I am sure there is something for everyone to relate to! I would highly recommend you pick up the book and start reading. You might find life-altering solutions in the best and most subtle way possible.

First Impression: Amazing
Just got it delivered now. I had pre-ordered it in early November. As I was not keeping track of it, kind of caught me by surprise when it arrived and it felt really good to get signed copy. I have completed first 25 pages and itโs really good, engaging and practical approach has been suggested on how to overcome setbacks and plan accordingly to get better. In spite of all the criticism Warikoo gets I think the book is going to be one more bestseller. I hope you found this helpful will update full review here after I complete it.
