maylit 8.2 Ft ICRGB TV LED Backlight for 24-60 Inch Tvs

My first LED kit but I’m very happy with it! Easy to install, size size was perfect for my 75” LG, I went right up against the edges and had just a couple inches leftover. The only thing w/ my TV, maybe others too, is the bottom sticks out so if you run the lights along there, it’s closer to the wall, so some modes, like mainly the ones where colors alternate w/ every LED, the dot pattern shows on the wall there (underneath the TV) and it looks bad - I don’t like those modes too much anyway, and it might resolve if I just pull the screen forward a bit which I have the option for with this kind of mount. But then idk if that’ll dampen the halo in other spots. (or maybe can put the lights a little higher but then again prob won’t get much glow). But overall I love it - check the vid. I never used to get/be into the whole multi-color light thing gamer stuff always has but now I get it/am into it lol. I can just stare at it for a while, especially when all the other lights are off, it’s pretty mesmerizing, like a fireplace. It even gives enough light where you can hang out w just those on. I’m thinking about plugging it into the wall so that I can use it on the TV is off - I have hidden outlets for the wall mount and one is available right now, otherwise you’d have to technically keep the TV on/in standby mode but then i’m not sure if you can have the display actually off - I know LG at least has these minimalist, black backgrounds, like just giving the time, or you can put up a custom gallery picture of plain black lol I love that there’s a physical benefit of backlight/bias lighting where it not only looks super cool but really is easier on your eyes and makes the viewing experience much better. I might even upgrade to the kit where it automatically changes the colors to match the screen - I’m getting addicted now lol. Adhesive stuck on right away and if I needed to make adjustments and take off and redo it was thankfully no problem. Also thankfully corners weren’t an issue - can easily bend. I just wish you could customize colors but I guess this is just the simple version - but a great starter kit for noobs like me!

I had LED lights for my old TV but my husband and I recently upgraded to a 75” Sony TV. These lights fit around it perfectly and add the perfect amount of light. Through the remote, you can change it to a variety of colors. It was very easy to apply to the back of our tv and is great quality for LED lights. We have them connected to our sound bar and they only turn on when the sound bar is on which works well because it’s set up to turn on whenever our TV is on. Highly recommend.

Easy to install by simply removing a backing and taping it to the tv, easy to use with the included remote control! I really like this one because of the ability to handle multiple colors at once instead of other models that can switch colors, but only display one color at a time. This really creates a cool atmosphere and I love the “light wave” function as I call it. It is just the right brightness to not be overwhelming but also helps ease the strain on my eyes when looking at the tv. Works perfectly! Their customer service is also phenomenal!

This is a good product and worth the cost. The only issues with the product are #1, the lights aren’t very bright. The TV illuminates in a dark room and can wash out the brightness of the lights behind it. Having said that, certain colors and modes are brighter than others. The lights serve the person if you want the effect. Issue #2 is the remote. You literally have to be a few feet away for it to work. The signal is VERY weak, but this seems to be the issue with most remotes for these lights. The downloaded app works great and makes the remote pretty much useless. All in all for the price this is a good purchase.

Looks great, and flashes with the beat

They are fine. Good length, easy install. The quality of the light is a bit harsh and there is only one white that is very cool (maybe 6800k) which is really not ideal for a bedroom. Also the LED spacing is really far apart which results in really obvious bright spots. Overall I think you could do a lot better for not much more money.

These LED backlights are AMAZING! They completely changed the vibe of my living room and made my TV setup look so much more modern and fun. The colors are super vibrant, and I love that you can customize them depending on your mood—whether it’s relaxing, movie night, or something more colorful and lively. The app and remote are both easy to use, and syncing everything was quick. Installation was simple, and the adhesive holds really well. Once it’s up, it looks clean and seamless behind the TV. Wanted to light up the back of my new LG C3-77. Installation was pretty straight forward. The light strip is one long strip rolled up. Instructions say not to fold corners. My TV is on a stand, not mounted on the wall. It's about a foot and a half from the wall. I think this is why it doesn't light up very bright. Maybe if it was against the wall, it would look brighter, but in my case, it's not very bright. Also, my wall painted brown thus doesn't reflect too much light taking away from the brightness. The remote control is useless and the app only works well while standing up and close to the TV. Overall for the price, it's okay. I'm not blown away like in some of the reviews, but like I mentioned before. These most likely work better with TV's that are wall mounted. Oh, one more thing, nice that they turn on when you turn on the TV on, but they do not turn off when you turn the TV off. You have to do it manually. ***UPDATE*** (Sep. 8, 2024) My last comment turned out not to be true. The lights do turn off by themselves after around 5 minutes of turning off the TV. I still stand behind the rest of my review.

Nice led lights for the tv. Just stick them to the back of the tv and just plug the usb in one of the available usb on the tv. No need for more wires. Fade is really smooth and the colors brightness is perfect. I must add that the ability to control the led strip with an app is awesome. You can sync the lights with music which is a nice addition.

Perfect to use on a large TV (55 inch) - this product will lighten up the space around your TV box - it was on sale and it is doing its job - trendy for teenagers' game room or bedroom

The lighting on these strips are really good! I have a 53” TV and I have the strips running along the borders of the TV, not the very edge but somewhat inside, and the illumination is good. Only downside, and it’s pretty big, the adhesion is fairly poor. I had dusted and cleaned the back of my TV and applied a good amount of hand pressure to make sure it sticks. Part of it has come off but still hangs enough so it works. Maybe I did something wrong? But I would advise that you maybe clean it more throughly, and apply more pressure. “Installing” is essentially just taping it to the back of your tv with the glue strip it has on it then sticking the USB into your TV.

I have installed these strips on 2 of my tvs one 48 inch (purple light in the picture) and one 55 inch (orange Light) and they fit fine and look great. The adhesive is very sticky and I have had no issues of it coming off. Make sure to obviously clean the surface before sticking it to the back of your tv. And to get the best luminescence of the back lighting have it close to the wall like they suggest in the manual. The more surface u have the more bounce light you will get. Hope this helps!
