So the followup question would be, what ports does your vintage receiver have? As long as it has a port that receives a 3.5mm plug, a commercial standard, than you should be able to plug them in. However, even if the vintage receive doesn't have a port for a 3.5mm plug you can still get adapters, for example from 3.5mm to 4.4mm. The bottom line is that the cable has a standard plug almost all devices have but if the receiver has different ports you can easily find adapters for the cable or buy a different cable.
