IBD Hard Gel - Builder Gel Clear, 1 pack (1 x 14 g) - MADE IN USA - Premium builder gel for gel nails

Was recommended by a nail technician in the US, I wanted a decent budget brand hard gel to use at home (my nail tech uses 'the gel bottle'). Really good, sets really hard but you need to get a very good lamp, mine was fine for polygel but struggled with the ibd hard gel. I improvised and used my tortoises UV lamp which set it fast! (I also used ibd led/uv bonder underneath the gel)

Great product no heat spike really easy to use gel good consistency did my nails a few days ago with other gels there we lifting after a few days seems to have stuck well to natural nail

So first off: I AM NOT A CERTIFIED NAIL TECH I'm only reviewing as a regular person with no real gel experience - I do it as a hobby! With that said, I have tried some other builder gels from different brands before and found most of them to either be ridiculously runny or severely sticky to the point I couldn't work with them. Since I'm a beginner and generally very slow in anything I do, this just ends in a huge mess and / or frustration. THIS. This thing is semi-liquid gold though. It doesn't seem to be affected my temperature fluctuations as much as other gels. I have never seen anything this CLEAR - when they said clear, they really meant it. It's practically invisible in the pot and equally as clear on the nails (there is some minor cloudiness on the pic of my nails because of leftover gel from a previous manicure - still clear as hell though!) There's practically no bubbles (or at least very few, small ones) and doesn't seem to get too bubbly either even when you mess with it. To me it has the perfect viscosity: not too runny but not polygel-thick either, so you could do all nails at once rather than one at a time because it will sit. On that note, I think it's got ever the slightest amount of self-leveling. Does it cure in an LED lamp? At least with mine it did! I've got 120W LED-only lamp, cured for 30 and 60 seconds - seemed solid with just 30 seconds but had more of a sticky layer, so I think 60 seconds is probably better. Will definitely buy more!

When used with correct lamp I found this product amazing and easy to use needs to be a strong lamp i used it first with a basic lamp for gel polish and it wouldn't cure so make sure you have a lamp designed to cure builder gel

Uts nice for using at home to do ur nails but its not good enough for professional use

Very good and easy to use. But I am a fully qualified nail technician and have been trained how to use this product and know what to expect.

Sorry guys, I hate giving negative reviews but this absolutely does not cure under LED light. I tested it multiple times yesterday and eventually held under an LED lamp for 8 minutes and it was still totally liquid. I'm afraid I do not own a traditional UV lamp so I cannot test it further, but I'm annoyed at myself for not trying it sooner as I would have returned it.

Used a few builder gels now and they’ve all peeled off within days! This is by far the best!! So easy to do nail extensions and actually lasts!!!

This gel creates beautiful French manicure! It is easy to apply and cures very nice in 3-5min. My customers like it a lot! I have been using the clear for a long time but I will for sure continue using the white now also!
