A thermal pad is not suitable for the CPU. Please use a thermal compound such as Arctic MX-6.

Can this be used in a kydex holster press as a clamping cushion to get a uniform mold around differet shape objects?

I mean, yea.....but there's probably better alternatives.? The real question is.......y tho? lol. Probably better off with self adhesive cushioning pads (assuming you're looking for a plastic/steel buffer)
