SHOULDER ADJUSTMENT TOO HIGH
Overall the product is good . My main disappointment is the fact that the adjustment on the shoulder side does not allow a much lower setting , ideally I would like this to be a zero adjustment so that the violin could rest virtually on the shoulder and not be raised up at this point at all - with any height adjustment as an added option of course .. (I have a short - average neck). This would require you to redesign the way the support on the shoulder side operates - how about a locking ball and socket arrangement - this would be a much much more flexible and variable arrangement .

Comfy and easy to use
Easy to put on and off, makes a huge difference to not using a rest but sometimes seems to come undone in places. I've only had it a week or so though, so might need to get better at fitting it properly

Strong and comfortable
This is the second one of these I have purchased for a second violin. They are strong and last well. I am told they are comfortable to use and survive trips to school and back well.

A very good product.
Arrived on time if not before. More expensive than similar others, yet worth it for the peace of mind of knowing it’s an established make. Adjustable and comfortable. Definitely recommend it. Sturdy

best shoulder rest I've used
this is the best shoulder rest I've had, it's very adjustable and doesn't have the rickety wobbly feel that my old Wolf one did. the rubber legs are also very soft. I would like to say that this shoulder rest improved my playing immensely, and that would be miraculous, but at least I don't get a sore arm any more!

Good shoulder rest with one problem
I have been using this now for 2 months. It is a reasonably priced, comfortable, very adjustable shoulder rest and seems to be lasting well. Unfortunately I cannot get it to stay in place on my violin and I have tried all the different adjustments and placements on my violin. It has a tendency to slip off or drop off sometimes with a loud bang when one of the feet becomes dislodged and swivels round - not what you want in the middle of a performance. I have had to cross brace (from one foot to the opposite) it with a thick rubber band which is fiddly because I find the band affects tone if it touches the violin.

Das ist eine in jeder Hinsicht super gute Schulterstütze. Sie sitzt richtig gut an der Violine, passt wie angegossen und hat ideale Verstellmöglichkeiten. Dafür gebe ich gerne 5*. Danke

I have had a few different shoulder rests over the years. The Kun Original is my favorite. It is well-made, comfortable, sturdy, and does what it is supposed to do.
