Fussy minpin gives it a paws up
Too early to review effectiveness. I’m just elated my finicky minpin retired service animal took an immediate liking to this chew. Alongside the dental finger wipes, I’m hoping to see improvements in her tarter, horrible breath, and resolution to the allergies, itchy skin, etc due to poor oral health. Over the years I’ve tried many methods and kept finding side effects with them; her gut is so finicky. Her regular raw freeze dried food from Dr Marty has some kelp in it so I had to research kelp chews to see if they would affect her thyroid. According to what I’ve found, if I do not exceed the recommended dose, she should be fine. I know she likes kelp; I have to eat in secret when I open a packet of roasted seaweed sheets. Easy to use; unscrew the lid pull out one chew and she takes it no problem out of my palm. Good value since my dog is under 10 pounds so no need to buy several tubs of chews per month. I like the ingredients especially with a bit of kelp. With her old teeth (teeny tiny teeth) she had no problem chewing it. The chews are soft-ish but not gummy, and they are not hard.

Small Dog Approved
After my dog had to have 6 teeth removed I started taking oral health for him more seriously. This product is perfect. My rat terrier is allergic to ALOT and this doesn’t seem to bother him at all. I have been able to maintain his teeth and breath with one chewable a day. I definitely recommend for small dogs.

DOGS LOVE THIS AND IT WORKS
MY DOGS LOVE THIS. IT ALSO DOES HELP THEIR BREATH. I RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY ONE WHO HAS A DOG WITH DOGGY BREATH. THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT IS YOU ONLY GIVE ONE A DAY AND MY DOGS WOULD EAT THE WHOLE BOTTLE IN ONE DAY ,

Great Product
Are you spending $700 to $1,000 for a dental cleaning on your pet? Give this a try - it comes in a powder also which is even more cost effective. My 6+ year-old dog has never had her teeth cleaned and there is no plaque. Even if there is a plaque buildup on their teeth, in a couple of months this will clean them up.

Your dog probably won't like the kelp
I knew this product was non-refundable, but honestly thought my dog would like it, especially if I snuck it into his food. I was wrong! If you have a picky eater like my dog, there's a great chance they won't like this product because of the kelp. I tried giving it to him multiple ways: plain; mixed in with his food after grating it finely; with peanut butter on it, and wrapped in his favorite treat. He didn't like it at all. The bummer is there's no return or refund if your dog doesn't like it, so it's wasted money down the drain. Over the past 10 years, I've purchased many types of dog treats from Amazon, and only 3 were pretty bad...and I was able to get a refund on all 3...but not this one. If you think your dog might like kelp, buy it at a local store that gives refunds (Walmart, PetSmart, etc.) to see if your dog likes it. You'll know the first day your dog tries it if he likes it or not.

Easy way to care for your pet’s teeth
When my Corgi was little, I used the powder and added it to her food. It wasn’t a big deal, but I confess she missed doses if things were really busy, but it did work well and I liked that the vet approved. She is now 13 and her teeth are looking pretty dang good, but we’d like to keep it that way. She thinks they’re a treat so I don’t have to coax her into eating them, nor am I trying to control her wiggles while trying to brush her teeth. They don’t upset her tummy (she gets 2 a day) and are soft so a dog missing a lot of teeth would still be able to enjoy them. She’s been using them since June and they seem to be working well; her breath is fresher and the vet was pleased to not see more plaque. She also gets a ProDen dental bone about 3 times a month for added protection.

VOHC accepted (vet recommended) for pet oral health regimens.
My fussy dogs like these treats, and my vet recommended to look for "VOHC Accepted" which this is. VOHC is Veterinary Oral Health Council. VOHC acceptance means the product has been proven to reduce tartar and plaque buildup, supporting better oral health for pets. We've only just started using it, and I expect this product to help control tartar and plaque, and it is vet recommended to be used with VOHC meal powders and drinking water additives.

Dogs love them but not helping with their bad breathe
We have only been using these for a few days and I am not seeing any change with their dental. I bought these hoping these would help with their bad breathe but nothing different has happened.

Horrible results for my little girl...
This product did not do well with my dog. After a week of using she began having issue with her anal glands secreting and itchy bump. I contacted my vet and they asked if I had changed anything in her diet and I explained I added Pro Den Plaque off. They told me to stop using this as this was what was causing her issues. Unfortunately I purchased the larger bottle and reach out to my seller on Amazon and they offered no support or refund. Just sorry it didn't work out... Check with your vet before introducing this to your pet and save them the discomfort.
