Review: SANSCO Smart CCTV Camera System - General installing is easy, just screw the cameras where you want them, route the cable, plug them into the DVR and you're good to go. They sell extra cables if you need to run longer distances, which you probably will need to. Packaging is proper and nice. The DVR is well protected with really good bubble wrap and each camera comes in a separate carton box with protection. All the power supplies and the mouse comes in a separate box. Really nice. The cameras are 1080p quality and can be adjusted to 720p as required. Day vision is very clear, and night vision also works fairly well, you may fit some floodlights supplementing the IR LEDs on the camera to improve the performance, but as said, their night vision do fairely well. Their app (both Android and iOS) also works fine. I haven't tested out their motion detection so I cant comment on that. Features I like: * You can remotely view all the cameras from another place other than your home * You can view up to 8 cameras on one screen * You can play back multiple recordings at once * You can view them on your mobile devices, PC and laptop, anywhere as long as you have internet access * Image quality is very good, both day and night vision, although you can't zoom in too much because it will become a little bit blurry * Easy to install and setup, almost fit and forget system, plug and play. * Cameras aren't ugly, metal bodies, very sturdy and heavy wires Features I don't like: - Still haven't tried the motion detection but looking back on some reviews, others do mention it is way too sensitive, I need it to continuously record so I leave it on 24/7 recording so motion detection not really a big issue for me - remote playback on mobile phone sometimes take too long to load I will probably update back once I discover more things I don't like but for now everything is quite good, I did have a little problem getting the system up and running but with the help of Sansco we got the problem fixed and everything is fine. I'm 100% satisfied with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a super reliable security camera system. Review: Perfect home CCTV system. - An excellent CCTV system for the home environment. Easy to set up with clear instructions and all at a reasonable price. Losts of brilliant features and really good picture quality as well. Mobile app is also excellent and allows you to review picures or recording anywhere in the world. 8 cameras give you all the coverage you need for a property so im very happy that I purchased this system. **Q: I need to run 1 cctv camera to my gate approximately 100 meters away. Will it still work over this distance?**
A: As Mr Brend says below you would need repeaters even with capable cable, but the skimpy quality of supplied cctv combined power/signal cables is extremely poor and is only sufficient in a small to medium sized house. The problem will be partly the video signal but more the 12v power loss (due to resistance) This causes ghosting or vertical lines crossing the screen. Getting a better Psu helps a lot, and is advisable in every installation to improve quality imho, but not enough for your situation as the thin cable is the real problem. Getting better ie thicker cable is the solution and a seperate feed for the 12v supply. As you will be laying cable just lay better ones and weatherproof the connections.

**Q: which camera has the wider viewing angle and better night vision? bullet or dome**
A: the bullet camera and dome camera wil come with the same viwing angle. 
The bullet camera may have better night vision as there is 36 LED IRs for night vision and the dome camera only have 24 LEDs.

**Q: I am connecting the cables using baluns but am not getting the night vision to kick in is anyone having the same problem**
A: No the night vision works perfectly.

**Q: Does anyone know howw to perform a password reset on the kare 1080n dvr ?**
A: I will only to glad answer this, when I get responce to my requests regarding faulty hand remote.

General installing is easy, just screw the cameras where you want them, route the cable, plug them into the DVR and you're good to go. An excellent CCTV system for the home environment. Easy to set up with clear instructions and all at a reasonable price. Losts of brilliant features and really good picture quality as well. Mobile app is also excellent and allows you to review picures or recording anywhere in the world. 8 cameras give you all the coverage you need for a property so im very happy that I purchased this system. Would buy again and can recommend if your looking for a home CCTV system.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great piece of kit, does the job

Bought this package after reading the reviews on Amazon and watching lots of usage videos on YouTube. Whilst this isn't up there with the top end models, it does a very good job. Picture quality during the day is clear. Bit of noise in the picture during the night, but otherwise OK. Zooming in, the picture is still quite clear. Had a couple of faulty BNC cables which I've contacted the seller about, who have agreed to replace FoC. Can view footage via the CCTV console and also remotely via phone app, XMEye. Remote access setup was easy, managed to complete in a few minutes. However, there are 2 things I'm not so sure about when viewing the footage via the CCTV console. You can view a single timeline in the console or for every single camera. 1) you can't move the timeline in sync across all camera timelines - each one is controlled separately 2) when in single timeline mode for multiple cameras, some of the events do not show up unless viewed for camera in question Instructions are very simple for getting the system started - not comprehensive though. I didn't try the mini CD, managed to break it putting the CCTV back into the box after inspection. On the whole a decent piece of kit in terms of what you're getting.
