Better than the rest!
Absolutely brilliant product! This bluetooth receiver is the third one I've tried for use on my stereo - and the first to work the way it should. It works flawlessly with my hp laptop! Really easy to set up, it's instantly recognised and the sound quality is surprisingly good. It can, however, only cope with one device at a time, so if you have it set up for your laptop / tablet and you want to use it with your smartphone, you need to remember to disconnect the first device before you connect the second, otherwise it won't work (something they don't mention in the 'manual'.) A word of warning about the cheaper competitors: they didn't work for me - and I had a lot of hassle trying to convince the sellers of that...

best 20 pounds I have ever spent
Well what can I say..best 20 pounds I have ever spent .The device works flawlessly and does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to set up and has a fantastic sound. I used this to convert my pioneer A/V receiver into a Bluetooth capable device. I have my receiver paired to Dali Sensor 7 speakers all round. The sound when played using the direct setting on the receiver was nothing short of brilliant from the little Bluetooth box. The speakers I use show up any flaws in music and the quality is a lot better than you get from YouTube sound. Product highly recommended.

Great purchase
This little gizmo surprised me for the price. Bought to make a set of HK Soundsticks iii wireless. Easy set up and Bluetooth connection.. quite smart looking with soft rubber non slip base.. the power supply cable looked a little thin but apart from that seems well made. Here's what surprised me though. The Soundsticks were a new purchase and wanted a Bluetooth receiver so went for this... reviews seemed decent and price was okay so decided to have a punt. Set up the speakers and did 2 tests... the first connecting the speakers directly to a Samsung phone .. if you're not familiar with these they are a self powered speaker set 2.1 with built in amplifier. Sounded great, even YouTube vids. I then connected the receiver to the speakers and paired up the same phone... same song... and couldn't believe my ears. The sound generated through this little receiver was actually better than the direct wired connection... Who'd have thought ? Got a great Bluetooth speaker set for a lot less than the wireless set available from HK which isn't strictly wireless anyway (the sticks still have to be wired to the subwoofer) but has Bluetooth connectivity built in... get this toy and save a quid or 2.... I got the sticks direct from HK at a bargain price. 5 stars for this... quick delivery...looks the part... would be nice if it had an on/off switch as the blue flashing led in standby mode is a bit annoying but uses hardly any energy... for that price just splitting hairs . Would I buy again ? Sure... and that question is always a deal breaker for me ! Top. Update.... sorry Esinkin for splitting those hairs !!!. still love the product but why oh why the flashing blue led on standby mode ? ... it's actually become really really annoying in a dark room... covered it up with tape... if you use this in a bedroom for example you should be aware of that...one star less.

10/10
This little device has resurrected my home hi-fi use via the amplifier, so well worth the money for that alone. Fed up with my aged CD collection, the amp was barely used in the last 5-6 years other than for the radio tuner. Signed up to a family account on Spotify (6 users at the same address for a total of £14.99 pcm which kept the kids happy!) and then streamed it via this unit to the amplifier. You send a Bluetooth signal from your phone/laptop through to this unit and that then plays out via the amp allowing you to fill the room or house with music rather than just the headphones. Used the supplied connectors no problem and I doubt that I could tell the difference by using more expensive ones. As with all Bluetooth units, you have to be reasonably close between the phone/laptop and the unit. Worked fine for me from several meters away. The unit needs to be plugged into a power source. Bought 2 and plugged one into the old DVD player to use that as the amp in the lounge via the Aux/Line in port. It has no on/off switch other than via the electrical socket on my trailer socket. Nice blue light showing power on/Bluetooth connected. No problems so far. I would definitely recommend it especially if you subscribe to a music streaming service.

does the job, except sometimes it likes to reconnect ...
does the job, except sometimes it likes to reconnect to my MacBook directly after I've disconnected it. Works perfectly well with Amazon Echo Dot.

Seems Like A Safe Bet
Easy to set up and pair with my laptop, range about 9 feet. Was getting a bit of interference from the right channel with RCA output, though fine with 3.5mm output. Tried a different RCA lead and that was okay, although my perception is that the 3.5mm output gives slightly better results (no idea why). Occasional split-second dropout from internet radio, but to be expected I suppose. No such issues with downloaded music. However, main plus point is the sound quality from both sources; mine's going through a good-quality hi-fi system and no complaints with clarity or EQ - had to drop the bass a bit and boost the treble to suit my own personal preference, but a nicely balanced end product.

Just trying to get intouch with Amazon
Why is it so difficult to get intouch with Amazon, it’s a nightmare, I ordered a Bluetooth device, it came and some leads were missing, so it had to be returned. Tried to order again but postage had suddenly gone upto £4-99 so I refused to purchase, the original has been sent back. Niw I get a message to say my refund is being processed in gift vouchers, I want it put back on my card. Has anybody git any ideas on how to easily get intouch with Amazon, don’t know where to go or what to say, an absolutly a nightmare. Thanks for nothing

... I'll make an exception with this as it's a great piece of kit
I don't normally review things on amazon but I'll make an exception with this as it's a great piece of kit. My old bluetooth speaker in the kitchen blew and I couldn't fix it so wanted an adapter to fit my 9 year old harman kardons (great speakers but aren't bluetooth). I'm a slight audio freak but I usually draw the line at a certain price point. Having researched and read about other adapters, I was reluctant to invest in an expensive adapter from richer sounds and opted for this. I wasn't disappointed. It sounds great and has a very long range. Even with doors closed. Great value.
