Fantastic little microscope.
This is an easy 5-stars for me. The price is amazing and it works extremely well. Ok, it's my first microscope so maybe I'm easily pleased, but it captures very good images at high magnification. Best of all for me is the fact that you just hook it up to your PC (it's plug and play, so just plug it in to a USB port and then turn on the 'Camera' app that comes with Windows) and you see the images on the screen instead of having to look into the microscope itself. This is really handy, it allows you to press the camera against your skin, hair, clothing etc and just look at the screen. The cable is long enough for it to reach from my PC, which is on a desk, down to the carpet. Then you can just hit 'Print Screen' and save your images in a paint package. I've had loads of fun with it and for £30, you just can't go wrong. The only issue I had, being a microscope noob, is that I couldn't work out how to focus it properly. A little bit of reading later and I realised that this an issue with all microscopes and it's due to focal length etc. It's not really a problem though, press it up against your subject and alter the zoom until it comes into focus. I find that for most subjects, I get clarity at two different zooms, one giving a good overall close-up and then it goes fuzzy until it comes into view again for a much more zoomed in close-up.

Very capable and easy to use microscope
The microscope worked perfectly out of the box on my Android phone, laptop and desktop. You can just plug it in and use it like a USB webcam or you can download their recommended software which worked perfectly and easily. It has two main zoom modes, the lower magnification one has quite an impressive range and let's you place the microscope a reasonable distance away at the cost of magnification. It also has a higher magnification mode that works only when the thing you are trying to look at is right at the end of the microscope. The scroll wheel on the cord for the LED brightness is very useful as you don't need to touch the microscope to change the brightness which means you don't accidently move it. I have used mine for just generally looking at things, smd LEDs, E-paper displays etc. It is powerful enough to look at the pixels on your phone or monitor. I have also used it for smd soldering where it's long range came in very helpful as I could keep the microscope at a distance whilst using a hot air reflow gun whilst still having the benefit of the magnification of the microscope showing on a large screen. After soldering I could use the higher magnification mode to inspect the individual solder joints. The microscope coped comfortably with applying solder paste and components of 0402 size and qfn44 and I am confident enough in its ability to try smaller and more dense packages. Overall brilliant scope, very easy to use and works very well.

It's affordable and usable but could be better
cons: 1. The provided usb-a to usb-c adaptor is really bad, it doesnt even register in my brand new phone or to my pc with a new usb-c hub, the usb-a cable works fine, so you need to get a third party adaptor if you want to use it with your phone as the connectivity of the provided adaptor is abysmal. 2. The zoom functionality is next to useless, its more like a focus setting as with the provided stand which is way too short, you can not reliably zoom in to x1000 with anything as you're left with nothing but a blurry picture. 3. The stand is really bad, it's very short and while it might be ok to sit on somethings and get it into position like looking at a coi or watch, if you're working on a large project like a pcb and you need it to focus on something in the middle of the board, forget about it - you have to buy or make your own stand. 4. No dedicated software for phone use, you're able to use a variety of applications which have their own glaring flaws and downsides. pros: 1. Cheap. 2. Lightweight. 3. Works with your phone PROVIDED you use a third party adaptor. I bought this as i have some very fine soldering to do inside a laptop and a magnifying glass wasnt cutting it, but now i need to make my own stand as the provided stand is useless for my need and the optional stand you can buy is useless for looking at components in the middle of a laptops pcb. For what it can help you do it's very cheap and very affordable so i'll give it 3/5 stars as the light is great, the stand is very bad, the adaptor to use it with android is very bad but with a third party solution it works ok provided you find the right software to use with it.

Good Value for Money
A great bit of kit for the money. A bit of a faff to set up, but once running it with S-EYE software it works fine apart from zoom, but that's not a bother. Image quality is good for the money paid and does exactly what I need it to do. Recommended. Trying to set the Amcap software up was a nightmare as Windows didn't trust, and kept blocking the drivers. I gave up on that one and used S-EYE which is fine.

Decent little microscope, but you do need an application to run it on your phone.
It's okay I guess, it's a bit of a nuisance as it keeps disconnecting, but when it works it's fine for the price. Easy to use with the stand and you can literally take it anywhere as it plugs into your phone. Image quality is good enough, but you need to have an application to be able to show you the image. Great little microscope at good value, lacks decent software for use on phones.

So I got this for my daughter to observe things. It arrived on time, the packaging was good, and the stand was amazing. But the microscope's USB wasn't working properly on either phone or computer, also the type C adapter didn't come with it. Definitely not what I expected.

This microscope is extremely useful for showing details of many objects, without the need to destroy the object. However, prepared objects between slides can be studied as well. Attached a screen copy with S-EYE (the software) connected to the Jiusion USB microscope. You see dried coffee on a plastic slide. The microscope is adjusted to about 1000 times. A disadvantage is that the transparant plastic safety cap at the front of the microscope should be removed first to reach 1000 times.

Compact and easy to use. I tested it with my PC and with my android phone. It was easy to make connection and display an image on both devices. The resolution is beautiful and focusing is effortless. I especially like the fact that it can be used with no cables attached. That means no cable to get entangled with plant leaves and flower stems. The software for it is downloaded from android play and works without any configuration. The one thing that had me confused is the magnification buttons. They allow you to set digital magnification from x1 to x2 in x0.2 steps. digital magnification trades image size for resolution. The main focusing is optical focus by turning a ring near the lense end of the microscope. The Microscope appears to be solidly constructed. The function buttons have a light soft touch that should not interfere with holding the microscope steady when capturing an image. The android app is called "Wifi check" and the wifi access point is HD-Microscope-e9f0. I uploaded an image of a fine linen shirt and of a screenshot with image of a coarse fabric so that you can see the function buttons.

Very cool product at a great price! Comes in a sturdy case to keep things organized, but I'm not sure how often mine is going to make it back into the case, since it is so fun to keep it handy and explore. Software is not too hard to install and being able to view, photograph and even take video of samples makes it easy for everyone to be able to see (vs taking turns to look with a more traditional microscope.) It wouldn't be suitable in situations where you need to know the specific magnification at which you were viewing items as the focus goes from 40-1000x but you don't know the exact degree of magnification you happen to be at as you move between the two. The LED lights are nice and bright (and adjustable.) This would be a great gift for curious" kids" of all ages, and a fantastic introduction to the wonders of the microscopic world.
