It's a bit more in price than other Freeview boxes, but it appears worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value for the price...shame the remote cant turn the TV on and off *by A***F on 26 October 2020* With a range of Manhattan Freeview box models to choose from i opted for this, the cheapest and most basic since i only wanted to be able to watch TV in the kitchen. The actual Manhattan T1 box is small and compact - slightly bigger than my Apple TV box and setup was very simple and straightforward. Although updates can be downloaded via an Ethernet cable connection, without one nearby i opted for a download and install via the thumb drive USB connection. Another simple experience via the Manhattan website. Everything is working well with the Freeview box so far and the remote allows control of the usual functions - TV guide, volume, change channels, etc. The one irritating thing, though, is the fact that the Manhattan remote cant be programmed to turn the TV on and off. Annoying to need the TV remote on hand as well as the Manhattan remote purely for this purpose. I read in reviews that Manhattan didn’t include this function in this model to keep down costs! Very lame.
