Auraglow Plug in PIR Motion Sensor LED Night Light Hallway Safety Living Aid & Rechargeable Battery Powered Emergency Torch - Warm White

I'm so glad I bought this, it's a brilliant little light, simple to use and does the job perfectly. The fact you can also use it as an emergency torch if needed is also really handy. I bought it because the light switch in my front hallway is at the wrong end so if you walk into the house you have to fumble around in the pitch darkness to get to it. This plugs into a socket by the door and give the perfect amount of light to stop me tripping over in the dark when I come home! I imagine it would also be a good nightlight, and it gives off a nice soft warm yellow glow rather than the nasty blue light lots of nightlights have. It stays on for quite a short time but that's good as it saves energy, and the sensor is sensitive enough to pick you up when you need it.

We bought this as we already had a couple of Auraglow standalone products. This one is a great idea and works really well. The motion sensor has a wide arc of detection and sitting in our hallway picked me up coming from all angles feels like almost 180 degrees. Also like the idea of it being a torch for power cuts and have used it a couple of times when just needed a handy light to check something out. Easy to just pick up, switch to torch mode, use as required and pop back into its cradle. Only slight downside is that as it plug socket mounted it is invariable close to the ground but that is more a function of my plug sockets that the product itself so still 5 stars. Will buy again no doubt.

I bought 2 of these for night time use of our dark stairwells to save putting main lights on if using the bathroom at night. They work really well they come on as expected and 25 seconds is more than enough time for them to stay lit I have found. The torch function is also an added bonus and very bright. Sometimes it has not come on as expected and seems like they have been turned off snd not yet worked out why this is but it's not really an issue as only happens rarely. Overall very happy with this product. Wish I got one years ago

These were recommended by a family member who has been using them for some time at their home. I have frequent power cuts and these lights are great, they automatically come on and stay on for plenty of time. They can be used as regular night lights with motion detection, I have them in my kitchen, hallway and bedroom. They are also a torch when you separate the light from the plug. I would definitely recommend.

I have 6 of these over 3 purchases, the Negative is they Slip off like Most people mention, I solved this by using small magnets (Neodymium Disc Magnets,9x3mm Small Round Magnet). The Auraglow plug is in 2 parts, the flashlight/nightlight and the Holder/charger, I placed two magnets side by side at the top part of the Holder where they will auto connect/magnetize to the Holder (maybe you can pencil around them then glue them on but I skipped glueing) , Please do Not place these magnets at the Bottom part of the Holder (where the also auto magnetize to as they will get extremely hot (effect called eddy currents) and so not a good thing so maybe glue is a good idea! With the Magnets safely in place at the Top part of the Holder the flashlight/nightlight will now hold on very securely.

Writing the review now, as it has finally stopped working in September 2024, bought it in Feb 2021. I will definitely be re-buying this. It works great as a motion sensor night light, we have in in the hallway so we don't trip over our feet if we need to hit the loo in the middle of the night. It's bright enough that you can see, but not so bright that it's jarring, and it only stays on as long as you would need. It also comes on non stop if you knock it off the holder, which does happen, my dogs knock it off fairly regularly, it does stick out from the wall a wee bit, but it's easy to pop back on, and it hasn't been damaged by falling off. It also has the feature where you can change the mode to be an actual torch, which is great if there was a power cut or something, you would find it immediately, as it comes on if it loses power and can change it to an effective torch, which will always be charged. My landlords were so impressed by it on an inspection that they added something similar to their fire safety plans for their tennants. Finally, it has now stopped working, but I think that for under £20, an internal battery that lasts over 3 years is completely reasonable, and I will be ordering a new one.

Always had one of these as we have young grandchildren stay with us and if they get up in the night the light comes on so they know where they are. They also illuminate if there is a power cut . Make great torches too. Good solid product for the money and worth it for peace of mind safety.

Purchased two lights in June 2023 as emergency night lights. They work well but the plug in charging units don't last - one stopped charging in April 2025, the other in July 2025. The lights continue to work on a replacement charging unit.

Non si capisce chiaramente che ha l’attacco per presa UK. Con adattatore rimane in orizzontale e se sfiorato cade facilmente. Per il resto come funzionamento e finiture è un ottimo prodotto

Its a lovely looking product but stopped working after a few weeks. Disappointed - so unable to give stars since the device is no longer functional.

The motion sensing night light is exactly as described and works perfectly. I am very happy with the purchase. Interested customers should be aware, however that it is a UK product with UK power connection. An overseas (UK) to Australian three pin plug is necessary for it to be used in Australia.
