I tested the waterproof case and it behaved flawlessly. As for image quality - it's a small camera and a small image sensor, so despite the 12 megapixels it's certainly not a better camera than your smart phone (same goes for the GoPro). But! You're not buying this to capture infinitely zoom-able photos. You're buying this to use underwater or in extreme conditions! And it should do that job extremely well at a price point that makes you thank god for capitalism. I'll this review if the camera starts getting weird, but thus far I'm happy with the design, UI, image quality, and accessories. Oh!
