This design has been around for decades and plagued by leaks. Is this branded version any different ?

I've had one for 20 years or so and it's never leaked.

does it come with the atatchments to make the yellow thing higher

The yellow funnel (middle thing) pulls out of the center and screws in to where the green cap is in the picture (there's no hole under where the funnel snaps in, that's just where it's stored) - so it is higher, but only maybe 2 inches.

Do you have the extension, about 10", to lift the funnel up closer to the engine sump that I've seen on other pictures? It isn't shown here.
