Is there any reason why I couldn't give this to a Grandmother to represent her and her Grandsons?

It depends on the age of the Grandmother. If she is in her 40's and sees herself as trendy, then you could just about buy with confidence.Personally I think 'Quietly' represents a young mother, and think that 'Surrounded by Love' or 'The Quilt' would be more appropriate for a Grandmother.

Is this suitable for a mum of a 11 year old boy and 4momth old baby?

It is a lovely gift and whist the larger boy would be younger than 11 it is still a mother and two sons. My daughter loves it.

Would it be suitable for a mother with two boys although there is a father as well?

A mother would love to receive that as a gift even when having the dad present as it symbolizes motherhood. I gave it to my partners mum to represent her 2 children(boys) and she is married to their dad but she loved the gift she said it meant a lot to her as its shows her love for her children.
