Sultans Crystallised Stem Ginger (500g Bag)

I bought this primarily to chop up and put into chocolate (I make my own) and it works very well. Nice big chunks of ginger to get hold of. I have tried a piece just on its own too, very lovely. Good to eat to settle any heartburn, since ginger is good for it. Would recommend

I used to love crystallized ginger, but when I was sick, I remembered that ginger was meant to help with nausea so I bought some, but was sick again and now it's put me right off it. Probably not the gingers fault, but I'd stick to it in cooking rather than a remedy for nausea or you'll end up putting yourself off it like me. Given it 5 stars as theres nothing wrong with the product technically!

Good value however very sugary. Small dice which originally I thought didn't taste of much however put a few in at once and the ginger really hits the spot for me. Not too fiery and good for indigestion as well.

Superbly luscious and fiery. If you like large lumps (I do) these are gloriously fresh and gingery.

the pieces are right flavour and well coated but they contain a mesh of fibrous threads which are unpleasant in the mouth and can't be swallowed.

decent quality Ginger will buy it again.

good value for money better of getting a lage bag,,,,very small jars in supermarket and expensive worth paying the extra for large bag,,,,dont last long when opened, ha!,,,would always buy again!

Worked for my nausea, snd that’s what I bought it for. Good size packet, with resealable top. Perhaps a bit more sugary than I was expecting (I think I’ve have dried more than crystallised before) but I think it worked better than the dried version. I’ll use it in my apple cake mix next time I get baking, too. I chopped up the larger chunks, but overall good product.
