Rolson 24779 16 pc File Set with Pouch

This set of files are great for modellers undertaking fine or small scale works. They are excellent in the worlds of model trains, boats, cars etc. including jewellery making. The are good performers providing you take your time with them and do not press hard on them; just go at a steady pace and take your time. The outcome will be perfect for you. When they eventually wear out you will certainly miss them big time, so my suggestion is that you buy a few sets and squirrel some away for a future date in case you cannot get them anymore.

This is a VERY good set, ok it is not a £100 set to last a lifetime, but for someone who does occasional work such as filing down alloy items in the photograph they are superb. I was going to buy a metal file, and another set of small files as I had broken one, then I saw this COMPLETE set, come on, how can you go wrong. Oh and they work perfectly. The only small really annoying thing is the zip on the case, it goes too far in and is a real bugger to get back out when zipping up, a small price for a great set and cured with a few stitches.

This is a good set of files, but the smaller ones don't seem to have the bite required and feel as though they are going to break when used. They even have trouble with hard plastic.

I was desperately trying to find a file set that came with a case. I can't be the only person who doesn't want all their other tools (and hands) to be scratched to pieces?! But unfortunately, most companies seem to do files on their own and you're left with either incredibly cheap or incredibly expensive ones if you want them in a case. I was going to buy the Draper ones, but I saw in the reviews that someone had suggested that these were exactly the same price but quite a bit cheaper and I'm pretty sure that they are the same too. Anyway, I bought these and so far so good. They're comfortable to hold and did the job well, which was to file a hole in my shed to make it a bit bigger so I could fit a grommet in it. You're not getting insane quality, but I think if you're like me and just want it for jobs round the home without breaking the bank, then I think you'll be happy with these.

A really good range of files both large and small but really good quality. I’m an old timer when it comes to my saws and have a Diston Philadelphia which doesn’t like files , most of which bounce of the teeth and don’t touch it due to the hardening, but not so with these they sharpened right from the first stroke and other projects. No worries

2 files came with segments of surface rust when I opened it. Other than that it’s a decent kit

By any reckoning this is superb value for money. The files look well made and are certainly fit for general purpose use. The handles are securely fitted and look good too. Obviously no file is indestructible and will wear out quickly if (ab)used on very hard material. It is too early for me to say what these files might or might not withstand. I have used some of the files on hard plastic filler and they worked efficiently giving a smooth finish and did not clog unduly. The pouch is an important bonus as I do not really want files rattling about loose in my tool box, as they damage other tools not to mention each other. The pouch is well made of tough nylon with a freely running zip around 3 edges. It's neither a fault nor any problem, but a little care is needed when inserting or removing the files as they are otherwise inclined to abrade the elastic securing loops, as files do.

La custodia rigida è sicuramente un valore aggiunto che rende le lime sempre a portata di mano e, soprattutto, archiviabili e spostabili in maniera molto pratica. Per quel che riguarda le lime, ce ne è per tutti i gusti e di tutte le forse/misure. La qualità delle zigrinature è buona ed il grip ottimo. Non so ancora quanto dureranno, spero tanto! Nulla a che vedere comunque con il pacchetto di lime da 10 euro del supermercato! Questa mia recensione è assolutamente autentica, rispecchia, nel bene o nel male, il mio personale giudizio sul prodotto e la mia esperienza d'uso con lo stesso. Il prodotto in oggetto è stato da me personalmente acquistato pagando l'intero importo, non sono stati utilizzati buoni o sconti e non ho ricevuto alcuno demo o omaggio dal produttore.

Colección de limas de calidad media baja, las grandes NO son ESCOFINAS porque son de grano medio, pero son útiles sobre todo para trabajos en bricolaje de madera, marquetería, maquetas... No las veo para metal ni para trabajos intensivos., pero por 20€ no puedes pedir aleaciones caras.

Für normale Heimarbeiten bietet sie eine gute Auswahl an Feilen, die ihren Zweck erfüllen. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Rolson 24779 Feilengarnitur zufrieden. Die Feilen sind von guter Qualität und erfüllen ihren Zweck. Wenn du nach einer vielseitigen Feilengarnitur für Heimarbeiten suchst, kann ich diese empfehlen. Beachte jedoch, dass die mitgelieferte Tasche einen gewissen Geruch aufweisen kann.
