Workmate Workbench WM301

This is a sturdy and simple bench. The height is ideal and the price is much better than the 2 x height more complicated version also by B&D. Now I've had both I would go for this uncomplicated model every time. It folds up very slim so will not protrude into your working space when stored. This comes as a kit of parts that need constructing before use. You will need a cross head screwdriver and either a hammer or water pump pliers to either hit or squeeze the pins in to hold the winding handles on.

A good product which will be useful time and time again. It's sturdy and adaptable and for the DIY enthusiasts will be useful on many different occasions. . The only improvement I think is needed is the instructions which are vague and difficult to understand.

Good product and excellent value for money. However the assembly instructions are very poor and the diagrams make them even worse due to the print size. Word of warning … make sure you engage the long threads in the main frame before securing the handles with the supplied fixing pins.

Perfect for the job. The instructions were easy to follow and each bench only took 10 minutes to assemble at most.Just a helpful tip, when fitting the pins into the handle, I found it better to use a pair of plumbers grips to get them in instead of using a hammer having to use hard hammer blows.Very happy and well worth the money

Excellent quality, and with the Black Friday deal, can’t give it anything less than 5 stars. It’s super easy to assemble. Instructions are also clear to follow.

Does an adequate job for light DIY/small projects. Very good price and speedy delivery. My main gripe is the assembly instructions were atrocious. Small, poor-quality illustrations. Assembly steps not very detailed. Correct parts hard to identify and some of the parts, particularly the pins holding the handles onto the shafts, impossible to fit. I got one in place after a LOT of hammering and had to replace the other with a screw. It is however easy to operate and store and providing you don't expect too much of it? should be fine for most day to day light DIY etc.
