Mod Podge Gloss Waterbase Sealer, Glue and Finish,16 oz

I was really impressed by the reviews so thought I would give it a try. Im not sure if I just had a bad jar of this but when I removed the seal the pungent smell was hideous. I threw away a piece of paper which had a bit on and the rancid smell never dissipated even when dry. The room stank and took ages to clear the smell even with the windows open. Such a disappointment as the reviews says its a great product and works really well but sadly I couldn't get to that stage. Wondered if anyone else has also had the same problem? Fortunately though, being despatched by Amazon, I was able to return it. The one star rating for the smell alone, cant comment on its durability or anything else.

And needs sealing with an acrylic sealer so save the money and just buy the acrylic sealer!!

Gloss finish is ok and protects the paint on clay. However drying time says 20minutes and even after 2 days there is still some tackiness to it

HORRIBLE. I received it with a hole on the bottom and glue everywhere, but anyway I decided to stop the glue from spilling and use it because I needed it right away. When I used it it was not as described, it left the thing I covered all sticky and then came off like plastic. Doesn't seal, doesn't gloss, it's more like cheap PVA. Do not waste money on this product, trust me.

Product didn’t come with a lid/cap so as soon as the foil is opened it will just dry up, I wouldn’t of brought it if I’d of known this as will just be a massive waste

I bought this product for diamond art. It has spoiled the picture. The sparkle has gone and it looks like an antique picture now

When the modpodge arrive the parcel was broken the mod podge had split inside the bag so haven’t used it and now the adhesive has gone hard not happy

I brought this glue for a leaf bowl project and it works, on everything. Very very well. We have used it to build up layers of leaves over a balloon to make a bowl. It dries quickly, clear, and creates a waterproof coating. If you want something to be sturdy then lots of thin coats works best. We have used it on paper crafts, photos, material and lots of other things. If you imagine UPVA glue and the way you think it should work, this glue works that way. I have made handmade books with glittery hand made paper, used a coat of magic glue and it is water resistant, none of the glitter sheds and the covers look glossy and professional. No holding things together while the glue dries a bit, no projects falling apart, no frustration. It creates a slightly flexible bond so no cracking when it dries. It cleans up fairly well when wet and peels off skin when dry. It's not super glue but it is super UPVA glue! It mixes well with paint and glitter for various finishes. Just going to order another big pot as we are a family of crafters and this glue is by far our favourite.

I use the mod podge when I finish my diamond painting .It is the best finish clear .

I use it for paper flowers. Great to mix with acrylic paints or to use directly on crepe paper to create extra shine and to add a protective layer.

Very good quality. Easy to use. Dries quick and has clear and glossy finish after drying. Smell is not a concern. Used for making glitter glue and it worked perfectly as expected.
