They don't have the microwave symbol on them like the freezer symbol.** A: I have microwaved with them, not sure if you're supposed to but they seem OK! **Q: Are the lids a tight fit - thinking about using for soups?** A: Do not attempt to seal when soup is boiling hot. Have used it in the microwave and dishwasher and they have come out ok and not warped. Only thing i didn’t like was it can be a little difficult to pry open the lid, i’m always afraid i would end up using too much force and breaking it.
