KS3 Maths: Workbook (with answers)

My daughter is struggling in maths. This workbook has allowed us to test her to see the areas she is struggling with and to also practise the areas she does well in. I would thoroughly recommend it as a revision tool or to help children’s confidence in this subject.

This book is full of clear revision notes and diagrams for students studying KS3 Maths. It covers the current KS3 programme of study and is aimed at students working at levels 5-8. The whole thing's designed to make revision straightforward - each section is split into a topic per page, with lots of handy questions to check what you've learnt as you go along. It's all explained simply and thoroughly and there's the odd joke thrown in to help break up the revision.

good for practice if you have exam coming up. I went back to college and bought this to practice on separate paper so I could keep it. keeps me remembering the concept :) Would recommend if the price is right at the time. I paid 4 quid delivered with other stuff so it was worth it

So what do you say about that? It goes along with the revision guides. My only complaint about it is that one page has questions with lots of multiple parts, which is often too much to do in one sitting. So we have to break it up and only do half the page at a time. I accidentally assigned a whole page without really looking at it thoroughly and felt awful when it ended up taking people hours to finish. I should have only assigned half that many multiple part questions. LIve and learn. Still, that contents of the book are great for strengthening concepts that have been taught and making sure they are understood before moving on.

This was good for the practice element. However the only frustration was that it didn't show how to stuff. For example he was struggling with long divison and we thought this book would help. However it just shows the sums and asks you to work it out. However it doesn;t show you how so if you get it wrong you can;t see where you went wrong

Very useful book. The answers are also included. Helps my daughter revise topics she needs help with.
