I had a little bit of tartar buildup (nothing major), and this brush did help remove some of it , which I was pleasantly surprised by. Just to be clear, this isn’t a replacement for a professional cleaning!!⚠️ If you’ve got serious buildup, go to a dentist. But in my case, it made a small difference. It didn’t noticeably whiten or brighten my teeth, but that’s not really why I got it. What I do really like is the firmness it’s a nice medium. Not too hard to irritate my gums, but not so soft that it feels ineffective. It gives a good clean without feeling harsh. All in all, a good toothbrush.
