Does this product taste like the malt in Maltesers?

It depends on what you use it The answer is no if you use it straight from the jar, but once added to sugar yes. I used it for malt loaves

This maybe a stupid question but, does this taste like Horlicks/ovaltine?! I can't have dairy and craving a malt drink, so I'm hoping this will work :

I have never used it as a drink but I feel the flavour does sort of taste a bit like Ovaltine ,which I do like, mostly in the wintertime. It might work as a drink , I might just try it myself in hot milk, you will have to use it in just water. Hoping this helps.
