Not a gaming beast, but GREAT value
I am writing this review because I got an email from Ace Magician asking for one, without doing any of the shady stuff like offering me discounts and rebates for doing so. The honesty impressed me, so here I am. First: I got the Ryzen 5 5600U, 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD version with the knurled knob for sound/power control for $350 in August 2023. At the price, it beat trying to pick out parts to upgrade my sibling's old PC which had about the same graphical performance but a worse CPU, a hard drive, and some sort of USB and WIFI problem, and no expandability. We went form an older tower PC to a tiny portable cute PC that absolutely blows the old one out of the water. That all being said: keep this product in your back pocket if you need to replace something old and you don't have a lot of money to do it. So, pros: 1. Price/value. I got this thing for less than the cost of a bottom rung tablet. 2. Horsepower. It's got more than enough clockspeed, SSD speed, RAM, and GPU power to handle basic tasks indistinguishably from a $3000 laptop. Gaming performance is in the territory of a little worse than a Steam Deck, give or take. 3. Size. About the size of a big fantasy novel. Sits on the desk with no issues. 4. Expandability. Really easy to remove the magnetic side panel to add another SSD or switch out the ram. 5. Fan adjustment knob. Actually useful, since the person I got it for has it on their desk while recording audio. 6. Windows 11 Pro. It didn't come loaded with ANY bloatware, and the Pro version of Windows 11 comes set up in a fairly clean and familiar manner. 7. Built in Wifi. No need to get a wifi dongle or card. Cons. 1. Won't be playing high end games. Set your expectations toward older games, indie games, and emulation. 2. Default price. At $450 not on sale, it starts to hew closer to the low end laptops that could do much of what it can plus mouse and monitor. I would try to get this on sale or with a discount if possible. However, I can't say it's not an option at the full price. Overall the thing feels nice, came in nice packaging, has thoughtful design, looks good, and is absolutely crushing it outside of more demanding games. I would recommend keeping an eye on this company for your small form factor needs. I might get another one to use as a TV pc, since my samsung "smart" TV is worthless on its own. I could even see doing something like a newb-friendly NAS.

Very important to know before buying.. Support is TERRIBLE. AVOID.
I bought an ACEMAGICAN a little under a year ago and it worked well enough for my needs. I really liked its unique look, built in vanity LED lighting, adjustable power knob and it also having two easily accessible M.2 PCI slots through a magnetic latching side panel which isn't common. The huge problem is that suddenly it would randomly lock up requiring a hard reboot and then eventually stopped powering on at all. Since I work in IT I was able to go through the base troubleshooting steps that their support forums outlined fairly easily but nothing seemed to work. After some digging, I found in a few forums like Reddit, other mini PC forums and the like, is that other users were reporting the same symptom of not being to power on at all no matter what troubleshooting took place all within a similar time frame as me. Some users were reporting that their support tickets with ACEMAGICIAN ended up w/ a new system being sent because some known issue with the motherboard. Of course when I contacted support they responded in a day or so going through the initial troubleshooting steps. After I responded back confirming the steps they outlined were taken and what their results were, they went radio silent, even after multiple follow up attempts. Calling did not do much good since it just goes to voicemail, but I did leave a message but of course no call back either. So in the end I ended up with an expensive cool looking paperweight. After a few weeks of a dead PC and getting no where with support, I finally gave up, bit the bullet and bought a new replacement system (a SER5 MAX model from BeeLink) that I've had good experiences with their mini PC products before. Moving from the old ACEMAGICIAN to the new SER5 was easy enough just by swapping the M.2 SSD and a little Windows cleanup after initial boot. I really wish this company had quality products and support because the previously mentioned features they do have in the mini PC space do seem to be very unique. I suspect that if the forums are right and they had a bad batch of motherboards, they got overwhelmed and a bean counter over there would just rather deal with unhappy customers than take on the cost of repair within warranty period. Anyway, I say AVOID unless you are fine taking a risk that you fall into the same bucket I did with a cool looking but dead-as-a-doornail mini PC.

Great customer service
I bought this computer in May 2023 and it stopped working in August 2023 because of a hardware failure. The customer service was awesome. They have a dedicated WhatsApp line, as well as a regular 1-800 number. The person on the WhatsApp line provided some potential solutions, but then when they didn't work, they immediately replaced the computer with a new PC. Great customer service! I recommend this company to anyone.

First one died. Got an immediate replacement.
I bought this mini computer for the mobility of bringing it to college for my son. After about two weeks, it died. But we got an immediate replacement for it. It has held up very well. My son plays Genshin Impact and a few other games on his laptop. After booting this computer up and getting it set up, the gaming was fabulous. Graphics were 100% improvement over what the laptop showed. Speed and overall performance, even on "Auto Mode" are great. Though we haven't upgraded it at all, the ease of the upgrade would be unbelievable. The side pops off, and the RAM and SSD are right there. I have a large format desktop that I may be upgrading to this small format comp. It is that good. Access to all USB and USB-C ports is easy. They are right there on the front. All in all, for this price, you get a computer that is faster than most laptops. more portable than a laptop. You just need a plugin and a screen. I would buy again and would recommend it for others.

Amazing Build for the price Plenty of upgrade Slots.
Not possible to get a better Build for under 600. This Mini beast has never even stuttered & Ive edited huge videos, played the triple A titles on steam. If you buy this computer to game you have to buy abother 1tb SSD drive & if you feel like it Double up the ddr4 quick 200 upgrade. But it's not needed if your not pushing it to the max constantly. I've only had it for a week now. The wifi & Bluetooth work perfect instant connection to PS5 controllers, Xbox, PS4 & even PS4 rep controllers. Bluetooth earbuds. You can wirresly connect to a smart TV & have 4 screens running. The case is held by a magnet & you just pull it off & you have access to all the slots 5 min job to upgrade SSD & Ram.

Faulty Product & Untrustworthy Company
I've had this PC for almost 2 years now. Last week, it shut down unexpectedly while I was using it and it hasn't turned back on since. I contacted customer service about the issue, and they told me to troubleshoot it. I did so, even though I knew it wouldn't work. My sister bought the same PC a few months before I did, and hers died the exact same way about 4 months ago. She was able to get it replaced under the warranty. However, perhaps something has changed in the few months since she last dealt with the company, because when I emailed them, they ghosted me. Communications were timely and helpful up until I wrote back stating that the troubleshooting didn't work and that I'd like to proceed with filing a claim under the warranty. Suddenly, crickets... I have sent a message every day since then for the past 3 days, and still nothing. Long story short, don't buy from this company. ACEMAGICIAN is the same company that was shipping out PCs with preinstalled malware not too long ago. Apparently, they also can't be trusted to make good on their warranties for an obviously faulty model. If you're in the market for a PC, save your future self the trouble and look elsewhere.

Excellent Value for the Price!
For such a small package, this Mini PC packs a punch. I love the color changing lights, the variety of ports (including USB-C for display purposes), and sufficient specs to power PC games. It's not the biggest gaming rig, but at $500 it's well worth it. I've got a 4K UHD screen, and played Astroneer with no lag. Love the easy expansion slots for memory and storage.

A solid computer for the price
I purchased this computer as a starter gaming system for my son and was immediately impressed by the thoughtful design, power, and speed of this little device. The graphics are smooth and the options to expand with new screens and periphery equipment are excellent. It also runs Windows 11 and doubles as a great resource for school work. Its an incredible deal for the price.
