A must have for coffee and loose tea
This is fantastic. Good and sturdy and holds a decent amount. Coffee stays hot and it doesn't leak. It's brilliant for loose tea as well

Fantastic device for the coffee lover
I've had a couple of these Cafetiere mugs, the previous one lasted for a couple of years and I took it camping several times as well as using it 2-3 times everyday, so it had a lot of use. Eventually though the small handle on the inner filter snapped off when I was removing it to empty the coffee grounds. I then purchased this one, and again it gets a lot of use, as it's perfect for me, working from home and being the only coffee drinker in the house. After 5-6 months use I noticed I had lots of coffee grounds in my coffee, and it turned out that the rubber seal on the inner filter had come away, and this was due to the two moulded plastic sections at the base of the filter separating. As these seem to be bonded together in some way during manufacture, they also retain the rubber seal in a locating groove, and now these had come apart the rubber seal had moved out of position when pushing the inner filter down. Although not expensive, especially for the amount of use it gets, I wanted to try and repair it, but didn't want to use any sort of glue as obviously that could contaminate my coffee in some way! I dug out my small box of nuts and bolts and my drill and managed to repair it :) Except for this minor weakness in the design, these are fantastic little devices for the coffee lover, easier to use and clean than a full size cafetière, they are insulated so keep your coffee hot for longer and are ideal for travelling/camping. UPDATE: I still love these mugs, however one of mine started making strange noises when filled with hot water and then I noticed that some water had got inside the mug, between the inner and outer parts. I still don't know how it got in there, as avoid submerging it into water, but I managed to separate the inner/outer parts ( see pics ), cleaned and dried it and then superglued it back together.

When its 'just you' or on the go
Let me start by saying I'm not a huge coffee drinker but when I do, I like proper coffee ( and just recently trying mycotoxin free coffee which is generally always ground). I had a huge cafetiere which hardly saw the light of day so it got me thinking of other alternatives as I'm the only one who drinks ground coffee. My partner likes the flavoured stuff. So after searching for a 'small cafetiere' I came across the travel range of different mugs. Now I don't really travel with hot drinks, I'm always the driver but an insulated mug with the capability of being a cafetiere is brilliant for me. Pros - - Its insulated so stays hot and has a lid. - Does its job wonderfully, it doesn't leak granules into the water. - sturdy and well built - lovely to hold - you can pick a colour - small enough to travel in a laptop bag and fits all together so no need to store bits separately - you can use it as an insulated mug without the filter, I also use it for herbal teas. You could probably use it for loose tea too - a great present Cons - - The cost, its relatively inexpensive really but if you drink a lot of coffee, you can get a large cafetiere for just less. But if like me you are solo or don't drink much, the above will be void and this will be perfect for you. - Its plastic. So if you are eco conscious you will want to look into sourcing a bamboo or metal one. - if the inner filter breaks I'm not sure you can get replacements but I haven't actually checked. So for me, I love it. It's a great cup and I've used it a good few times now. In one of the pictures I'm sat in the car waiting for someone to pick something up and loving my cup.

Absolutely ideal.
I bought two of the these to finally replace identical ones I’ve had for many years. The old ones started to look a little scruffy but, considering they’ve been used every single day for 8 years, I’m know I can’t go wrong. There are many insulated coffee mugs available online & in the shops but they all seem to have metal rims which means that they shouldn’t be used in a microwave to reheat if necessary whereas these are completely microwave safe.

Fine, if you dont mind bits in your drink.
It's okay, if you dont mind coffee beans in your drink. Unfortunately the contraption isn't a tight fit, so liquid pulls quite a few bits through as you press it down. Shame, because it's a good concept and it does make a nice drink.

A brilliant design that keeps coffee hot and tasting of coffee!
Outstanding. Easy to use and clean, no grit in the coffee, because of a tight seal and keeps coffee hot for a long period. Unlike most other mugs I have tried it doesn’t impart a plastic taste to the coffee. For use at work and camping this is now my go to mug. Good value for money too.

Lo he usado en un camping, calentando el agua en un hornillo y el cafe ha salido genial. Lo unico que hay que tener cuidado porque se puede salir el producto por la abertura que tiene para beber

These cups are great if you want a better cup of coffee than any of the instant coffee out there.

Really good for transport hot coffee from kitchen to living room when in wheelchair. 5 stars if it was ceramic.

For those days I just want a fast cup of coffee but I don’t want to pull up the bigger french press this is fantastic. I had bought it in the past but brought it to my second home and forgot about it since I haven’t been there for awhile. Is great for camping too, boil water fast with a pot with heat exchanger, make the coffee and save the rest of the hot water in a thermo for another cup or to wash dishes. It washes easily at camp where water is not readily available in dry camping and keeps the coffee hot in those cold mornings in the mountains, the lid keeps bugs at bay just push the plunge very slowly and you won’t have grinds in the coffee you’re drinking, arrived faster than specified. I can’t say any negative things about it. Personally at home I wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher or microwave, it might ruin it and is so easy to wash. For those of us that like to add cream you can add it after you use the press since is not attached to the lid. Price has gone up since I bought the first one but what hasn’t and I think is still worth it.
