This is a life saver. I had problems with my brake lights not turning off, so much so - that we had neighbors who came walking in the middle of the night to search out my car. Apparently the glare of my brake lights were interrupting their adult fun times. While it was awkward, it also led to a neighbor telling us what was wrong with my car. A fusion 2015 - just for reference. The body shop wanted to charge me $100,labor and $50 for the part. I searched on Amazon and got this wonderful part for around $10 and then another neighbor put the piece in for around $15, saving me tons of money and time. Def recommend and almost anyone can replace the part.

This product did not function as advertised nor did it fit the vehicle advertised. It was not possible to use.

Fit was exact for my 2015 Mazda cx5, easy to install myself, very well priced, works exactly as intended.

2014 Mazda cx-5 no green key indicator. The push start would flicker red. I ignored these indicators, in this order -> TCS OFF, then TCS(DSC), then tire pressure (TPMD), then CHECK ENGINE, and finally got MASTER WARNING LIGHT. ( over a few months ) So one day the car would not start. I couldn't even put it in neutral for a tow truck ( Side note: there is a slot next to the shifter the size of a flathead screw driver, pop that out, press down with screwdriver or key, to put it in neutral ) Anyway, this part fixed all of that. No more indicator lights. There are a few youtube videos that show how to replace it. Its just above the brake petal. I did not take the panel off. It's cramped, no space and better with a flashlight. The hardest part is getting the old one out. Put the blue part in your palm and twist. Then pull it up and out. There is a white part with wires that is clipped in at the top. With your left hand and thumb, press the mid top white clip in hard with you thumb and flick up.

Quick and easy. 2010 Flex, old one twists out , swap pin plug, twist new one in. Might need a pair of needle nose if you got big hands. Fixed the brake light issue

Works perfectly! The problem lights on my dash went away as soon as I started the vehicle after installing this brake switch. So far so good.

The brake light switch fits good, but it did not work on my f150. Had to purchase thw genuine one to work.
