Proraso After Shave Balm - Refreshing

I love ProRaso products and this is a fantastic scent for everyday use. Good value for money and decent longevity. Deals with any razor burn and a nice scent for all ages. Fresh and clean.

Proraso Aftershave Lotion is refreshing and soothing, with a cool menthol kick and a classic barbershop scent. It absorbs quickly, calms irritation, and feels great on the skin, does sting a little if you have cuts. Recommend it!

I was really surprised at how good this smells especially for the price, and certainly would opt for the 400ml bottle next time. This is an up to date fresh smell that also feels great on the skin. My only criticism is that the smell disappears very quickly and is slightly too understated. I would have liked it to be a little stronger.

Classic and keeps the old time quality

if like me, you get sore and some blood spots after shaving with a razor, putting this on afterwards will sting at first allot , but after a minute, it does have a soothing effect and makes your skin quite supple and calms down irritation after 5 mins, , it has a nice refreshing smell, but it won’t last long maybe 5 to 10 mins before smell wears off, it wont project long like a perfume, I gave it five stars because it is very good value at this price, but if you’re looking for something that won’t sting when first applied go for a cream shaving after balm instead

It's necessary to separate the product's efficacy as an aftershave lotion from its scent. As a soothing, conditioning lotion, it's great, giving a pleasant fresh feel. The scent, however, is rather less agreeable. It smells cheap, albeit sort of clean, slightly sweet, and a bit soapy. It's not horrible but it's certainly not a fine fragrance. Fortunately the smell isn't very strong and it soon wears off.

Many misinformed reviewers of this product complain about the scent being very short lived , the fragrance itself is very pleasant old school barbers in Bond Street London kind of feel . It is not meant to be a night out fragrance I.e long lasting . It is meant to be an “after a shave finishing product “ ie cooling and soothing a freshly shaved face , this it does in spades provided you have shaved carefully and with skill and don’t have a few nicks , this stuff is excellent it really makes the skin tingle when applied to a freshly shaved face , a bit like cold water but without the shock , the soothing nature comes from the eucalyptus in it . I really think at £10 this is a very good value for money product .it does the job of cooling and soothing the face immediately after your shave and for that it gets a 10/10 from me , remember this is NOT designed to be an after shave long lasting night out fragrance .It is designed to be part of a man’s shaving ritual ( preferably with a traditional grown up de razor ) not these 5 blade rip off priced plastic modern ones . Buy it and use it as it was intended and enjoy …it’s really that good 100 % recommend from me

This menthol splash complements the Proraso balm in the same range. Very good value for the price and leaves a satisfying fresh feeling after a shave. My only regret is that the scent doesn't last long at all. Still bought a second batch though and can recommend.

This stuff is fantastic! Soothes and cools your skin after a shave, and my wife likes the smell of it. 2 or 3 shakes is all you need. I’m on my second bottle of it and will be buying a third when it’s time.
