Amazing for the price
So I purchased this for £29.99 and I think it's really nice. The keyboard is silent and tactile which feels really nice for typing. I purchased this so I can type long essays and reports for my project. It has function button for mute, volume up and down and play/pause and it also has a calculator button which is handy. When I purchased mine, I received the UK keyboard layout which I prefer as well. The only downside to the keyboard is that no keys are back-lit which includes caps lock (On/Off) and NumLk key (Number Pad). I have also heard reviews that Enter and backspace keys are smaller than normal but I have gotten used to this quickly and was not issue for me. You also get a mouse with this and the mouse is decent; it does not match Logitech Gaming series or MX series but for productive situations where I am typing a lot, it does not make a huge difference and it adequate enough. If you are wondering if the mouse clicks are loud, then yes, it is loud (something to bear in mind). You also get battery for both the keyboard and the mouse (non-rechargeable). Overall, I am really impressed with the keyboard, as I originally was going for Microsoft Surface keyboard but this is more than good enough for me :)

Great keyboard and mouse setup
What a great keyboard, I've been through a couple of keyboards recently whilst trying to find a balance between wirelessness, comfort, style and feel. This keyboard finally ticked all the boxes for me. The closeness of the keys may take a while to get used to but after a week that autopilot typing behaviour kicks in. The keys provide good resistance to the touch so you know you've hit a key properly but it also sounds smooth like a new laptop. The mouse feels like until you put batteries in and then is the perfect weight for gaming or general use. Up until this point I forgot it was even powered by batteries so battery life is also worth mentioning as really good. You can't beat the price either for what you get. A top brand known for reliability and quality. Would recommend this setup.

I've had worse, though my partner likes it more than I do
I needed another keyboard as a backup, and because I needed a new mouse. My main keyboard is an Apple Bluetooth keyboard, which is lovely but troublesome. (Windows 10 keeps loosing Bluetooth pairing info and I keep having to use the onscreen keyboard to set it up again.) Anyway, compared to the crispness of the Apple this one is very spongy. There's absolutely no tactile click, just a bit of a hollow, rattly thud as keys hit bottom. Build quality is solid enough, I guess, but the quality of the of the plastic feels too light. The typeface of the labels on the keys looks too small for the keys, too. For instance there's a tiny padlock icon on the Caps Lock key which looks like a blob of tippex, and I have to squint to distinguish between the hyphen and the underscore, or plus or star symbols. To me it looks a bit like an early mock-up and nobody bothered to go back and finish things properly. Which is a shame. At least this is a full sized keyboard with everything present and correct. (No need for additional "Fn" style shift keys, here.) There are also a few special keys for audio and one to bring up the calculator and it's nice that these work out of the box. The mouse is lively and positive, though again suffers from the same lightweight hollowness as the keyboard. Once more I have something better to compare it with, this time also from Microsoft. Their "Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000" just feels nicer all round and since this is to be my main mouse on my desktop, I'm wishing I'd bought another one of those. Having said all that, and originally given it three stars, my partner came home and loved them both. It just goes to show how personal taste is such a factor in these areas. Hence I've split the difference and made this a four star review.

Don’t let the plain Jane looks fool you, this keyboard and mouse set is awesome!
Excellent product. Definitely a case of function over form but if you’re not overly concerned about the look of your mouse or keyboard then there’s not much wrong here. Not to say that this set is ugly, just plain. In terms of function though, both are great. The keyboard sits comfortably on your lap or desk and the keys have a nice response. The keys aren’t backlit unfortunately but for this price point it’s understandable. The mouse has a good weight to it and it fits the hand perfectly. It’s a shame that there aren’t any additional buttons on the side as the thumb and ring finger are ideally situated for this. Again, understandable that there’s only the standard 3 buttons for the price you pay. The only real issue I have with this set, which is common for wireless keyboard and mouse devices and by no means a big deal, is that the usb stick struggles to cope when it’s not got a direct line to the keyboard or mouse. I’ve found that this problem is particularly bad when an electronic device, such as a tv screen is in the way. Not a dealbreaker by any means, the same happens with pretty much all devices of this nature. Just a warning that you may want to invest in a usb extension cable if you use your tv as a monitor.

Fantastic set for price!
As a developer working from home on a tiny dell laptop wasn't ideal so needed a cheap keyboard and some other bits. This set is fantastic. Other reviews say the return key is too small but it's the same size as my laptop so no issues. Took less than 5 mins to set up and batteries were included which is always a plus. And there's a shortcut key for the calculator! The only downsides would be there's no light for caps lock and num lock, but they show up on my laptop when I click them. Otherwise everything works perfectly!
