These chucks are very handy for non dremel bits they dont last forever i find they at some point lockup and won't open its happened to two previous chucks not bought here but a common issue I guess but they arent expensive and they are good when they work definitely a good add-on for the dremel tools its why ive ordered this one official dremel chucks I prefere than cheaper knock offs id recommend these for dremel users..update old chuck i left oiled now its working again thats just my luck but im good with this always good to have a spare

Fitted my Dremmel perfectly. Just the job.

I've been using it for a couple of years now. It's mostly been very handy and saved time. But the chuck has come loose while in use. It has also seized up a couple of times. My conclusion is it's due to heat. When working, if the chuck gets too hot, the metal expands and the bit gets loose. Tighten it up, but then after it cools down the chuck shrinks tight onto the bit. Keep it oiled and don't let it get too hot and it's a really useful tool

It takes any bit of 3mm or under -- including down to 0.3mm (not 0.8mm as the Dremel website states). Its only downside is that, should you want to use some of the Dremel attachments, you have to remove the entire chuck first and then replace it after fitting the attachment you're using. Which isn't neccessary with the narrower chuck that comes with the machine. Still, it's a small price to pay for a much more use able chuck.

Estamos ante un producto verdaderamente esencial para trabajar de manera rápida con la Dremmel. Es un mini mandril de apertura y cierre rápido para multiherramientas Dremel, que te permite: 1.- Cambiar los accesorios de diferentes calibres de vástago sin necesidad de cambiar las boquillas. 2.- Utilizar pequeñas brocas y accesorios de hasta 3,4 mm de vástago. Si bien el precio es algo elevado, creo que es imprescindible para poder trabajar con distintos tipos accesorios de la Dremel de manera rápida y sencilla (habitualmente perdemos más tiempo cambiando las boquillas de la Dremel que realmente trabajando con ella). Con este mini mandril el proceso es muchísimo mas rápido y sencillo. Es compatible con todas las multiherramientas Dremel excepto la 4200 que llevan el sistema de cierre EZ Change. Sirve también para multiherramientas de otras marcas, siempre y cuando coincida el diámetro del cabezal de la máquina (el canuto donde se integra el mini mandril). Su instalación es enormemente sencilla: Simplemente va roscado sustituyendo a la tuerca que aprieta las boquillas de la Dremel. Eso sí, para poder fijar los accesorios, casi siempre tendrás que usar la llave para dar un poco de apriete y seguridad, realizando una instalación mas fuerte y segura. Espero que esta revisión te haya sido de utilidad; comprar informado es comprar mucho mejor.

This is another accessory I found I needed for my Dremel. It allows you to attach several sizes of bits to the main Dremel tool without changing the collets. Just keep in mind that this is only for miniature bits and will not allow the tool to drill bigger holes than what Dremel recommends even with a change of collet. This came in original Dremel packing and is not a cheap substitute or locally produced chuck. The three prongs align perfectly and the tightening and removing of bits is smooth and comfortable. There is a notch on the base which allows tightening using the standard Dremel wrench included with the original tool. I would recommend this to all serious enthusiasts. Its cheap and easily worth the investment.
