Seems to be a well made and sturdy outdoor socket that seals effectively around the cable. I have not fitted it yet but I do not foresee any problems. The wiring it straight forward, If you have wired a socket in before, then there will be no problem with this one. Just make sure you are wiring it into the correct circuit, if you don't know, get someone who does.

I bought the BG Electrical Outdoor Double Switched Power Wall Plug Socket for use in my garden and shed, and overall I’m very impressed. It feels solid and durable straight out of the box, with a robust design that gives me confidence it’ll last through all types of weather. The IP66 weatherproof rating means it handles rain and dust reliably, which is exactly what I needed for outdoor power tools and lighting.  The installation was straightforward with clearly marked terminals and multiple cable entry points — even for a non-professional DIYer like me it was easy to fit. The switches click confidently and the hinged cover feels sturdy enough to protect against moisture.  Compared to other outdoor sockets I’ve looked at, this one offers excellent value for money. It’s priced well and performs just as well (if not better) than more expensive alternatives. Fitted without ant issues.Best part of item is the individual switch per socket. Would have liked separate switch covers instead of one large. But can't fault it..A worthy purchase
